Official Nioh 2 Disc: PC & PS5 Collection launch 05 FEB 21!

I remember Karasu Tengu well from the original and while I still find their moveset manageable, if the terrain for engagement is even remotely suboptimal (narrow paths, obstacles grabbing, accompanied/overwatch), their HA + melee DMG + sonic projectile give me a real fight every time; given any encounter, I can honestly go unscathed or meet my end. Pretty crazy to me how inconsistent I am against them, still. I too remember in 1 their throwing at us two at once...lads, never again. Sloth cheese barely got my bottom out of that mess. Was awarded the exotic smithing text for Tengu Visor yesterday; definitely want to enter smithy at next stopover.
 
man i wish i could buy this game....with the whole covid shit my gf is taking care of our kids 100%...i just can't see myself being like oh hey gonna go play some Nioh when i get back from work ok

Especially on bridges. I'm 99.93% positive this game input reads and intentionally forces you to dodge off ledges. Fuckers!

FWIW, I have a lot of respect for you making that call. Sounds like your gf has a good dude in her corner. Pick this up no less when it's cool for you to do so; it's a lot of fun and has heaps going on.

And I love it. This guy is fun.
 
And they had to ruin the pacing of the game by adding a shit level with Wolnir on steroids as the boss.
 
Finally beat the owl boss and did some back tracking to clean up some of the sub missions.

Made it to the boss of the next main mission that's the ice boss with one arm. Only did a few runs and got him down pretty low each time. Just need to clean up some of attack runs and should be able to take this guy down.
 
Started recording a few vids of my first play through. This one was testing the parry window of the Kurasigama which is huge. Midway through the 3rd region mini-mission:

 
I’m not sure what happened today but I rolled some ridiculous perks on my tempered accessories today. +22% Melee damage on poisoned enemies? That’s crazy.

They have to because it’s just stupid powerful. I honestly try not to even use it because it feels like cheating. I’d rather they buff the enemy AI to better defend against projectiles, but what can you do?
 
How sick would it be if Nioh 3 was open world like The Division
