Khabib came back to Russia 10 days ago, 10 DAYS. Dana only casually confirmed it the other day, if he was so unhappy about it, we would have heard about it.

You're the one being dumb if you believe Khabib just left his camp just because he wanted to, pissing thousands of dollars in the drain in the process, it probably fits your little bias.
My source is not speculation but I will take Khabib's words any time over anything Dana says.

We now don't have a fight because Khabib can't leave his country, not Tony. Nobody told him to leave, he left and now can't make it to the fight. That's on him, nobody else

Tony shouldn't be the interim in the first place. Conor wasn't defending it for over a year, when Tony won he should have been the champ. There is no real champ until Tony and Khabib fight. And Khabib fucked that up now, again... Personally I don't care who wins, I just think that they should be treated the same way
 
The only reason it's not already been done is Dana's still trying to make it happen but does anyone really believe if the fight's off he's going to tell Conor he has to wait til next year for his shot at redemption? Conor has better things to be doing, like fighting Manny for 100m+, Dana can not risk further delay.

Dana is risking lawsuits from athletes and crew and ridicule from the sporting world for insisting this fight go ahead during a global pandemic and for what? 600k buys and an empty venue? Please...

As Dana said some weeks ago Conor Khabib II will be the biggest fight in combat sports history and his refusal to postpone this stepping stone is to not disrupt the timeline for the big one.

IF Khabib doesn't fight Tony he will be stripped, Conor won't agree to no interim bs. Dana has no choice.
 
No. He’ll try to force tony into an interim fight and make Conor/Khabib 2 shortly thereafter.
 
During a global pandemic? I don't think so. Nontheless it would be hilarious measures to take. I don't believe he will. If things were normal and he did that yes Dana would have stripped him and rightfully so
 
You are implying Tony vs Conor... long shot, but I agree if this card is saved with these two. It's going to be for the real LW belt. Dana will throw Khabib under the bus, strip him and promote this fight.
 
Pretty sure Dana likes Khabib. Why would he strip him? Khabib is definitely a star* and a big draw at this point.

It is tough to be a president of anything especially combat sports and politics where in combat sports u are responsible for everything like health issues,payment of the fighters,lawsuit, fight being canceled before few days or in the same day like the Robert/Gastelum fight at ufc 234 where Rob was rushed to the hospital due to surgery i mean holding a position as a president it is tough and risk For politics u r the responsible of everything happening in the country like economics,health,justice appointing PM of a country (Usually done by the parliaments) I mean being a president is a HARD TASK Honestly
 
Khabib though not the level of stardom of Conor is still pretty big for the UFC and that will only increase with the title defences.

Dana isn’t stupid enough to strip him of the belt due to these circumstances. Imagine the backlash. Literally all sports have come to a close. We shouldn’t even be entertaining the notion of this fight with the way this virus is progressing. Using Khabib as a scapegoat is weak, the card was never gonna happen. It was nice we had the Brazil card but let’s wait til the world is back up and running.
 
That's right Conor worms, BEG Dana to strip him of the belt, because you and the UFC know he loses to Khabib 100/100 times in a fight. Only way your rapist hero can smell the belt is if he can slither his way around the champ.

He definitely shouldn't strip the title or make another wasteful interim belt. DON'T HAVE THE FIGHT. If the NBA/MLB/NHL are all closed so is the UFC just accept it.

Why in the hell would a rematch of a mostly non competitive fight be “the biggest fight in combat sports history”? Pure hyperbole on the part of Dana White, and once you realize that claim is bullshit, the rest of your theory ends up in the manure pile with it.
