Yep. Everyone wants this thing to be over, but thats just not reality - the second wave of an epidemic is usually when most of the death occurs. I'm guessing by end of October we'll be seeing massive jumps in new case numbers, followed by jumps in deaths starting mid November.

The sad truth is that the overwhelming majority of those people were very likely going to die anyway within the year. This doesn't normally impact people who aren't on deaths door.

throughout the year 1/3rd to 1/2 the ICU cases were under 65. So often enough extremely sick, with possible long term damage to their health, and tens of thousands in medical debt.

Why do they keep saying this? One of my best friend's uncle passed from it. Dude was in his 50s. No preexisting conditions. Thin. Didnt take any meds because he was always perfect health. Some people just have a genetic predisposition to not tolerate the virus. Yes, it is a relatively small number of healthy people that it takes out but theyre still people.

I also disagree with the statement that those people would "die within a year" anyways.

What percentage of people are hospitalized? There's a big difference between losing a few days pay and buying a bottle of nyquil and having to pay a hospital bill. All of those people who allegedly died of Covid could have easily died from something else, but because they happened to have the virus in their system, it's being attributed to that. You are acting like COVID is only killing people that were already on their deathbeds, or had terminal conditions.

Being 70 years old, having asthma, being obese, and tons of other conditions would not have killed these people this year, or anytime soon if they hadnt caught COVID.
