The smallest NHL player would knock out Jake Paul

Evander Kane's father was an ammy and has been a boxing coach since Evander was a kid.

Coming from an athletic lineage, his father was an amateur boxer[3] and hockey player. Kane's mother was a college volleyball player.[1] His uncle, Leonard Kane, is a member of the Canadian Ball Hockey Hall of Fame.[4] Kane's cousin, Dwayne Provo, played in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for seven years and spent one season with the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL).[5] Another cousin, Kirk Johnson, boxed for Canada at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and later fought John Ruiz for the 2002 World Boxing Association (WBA) Heavyweight title.[5]

Yeah, his dad is from East Preston. Custio Clayton (who should've gotten the W against Lipinets some weeks back) is from North Preston. Kirk Johnson, who is best known for getting poleaxed by Vitali, is from North Preston, too. A lot of boxers from such a small community (and a lot of great black Nova Scotian boxers historically, like Sam Langford and George Dixon).

I'm part of NHL trash talk on Facebook and was reading all about how kane would ko Paul. Not a chance imo.. Paul's got hands

Cant do any worse than Nate did. He had fun time just running and hugging Jake before getting blasted for sure.
Even a guy who never trained anything other than video games did better than this supposed a-level athlete did.

Kane KOing Matt Cooke was just as sweet as Hendo KO'ing Bisping.

Hell, it probably was even sweeter.

I'm honestly surprised hockey isn't more popular down south... literally everything they love. Competition with some trashiness thrown in.

he'd get fucking dropped stop this nonsense, not only are hockey players soft as fuck, they are mostly unathletic.

Four major? Because some dude on ESPN said? More people play soccer in the US than hockey. Definitely not even close to one of the 4 most popular sports! Fantasy land... How can it be in the top four when Africa, South America and most of Asia can't play?
Dude, MMA is a bunch of nobodies and Conor mcgregor to any non MMA fan. Id watch MMA before Hockey any day but NHL is watched on average by like 4-5 million.....UFC is like 1 million at best usually....

No non MMA fans know who Dustin Poirier is lol

Kanes a beast. But these guys have a hard time fighting off skates. He's obviously quite athletic and tough so maybe that can translate but he'd have to completley forget how he usually fights
Not know how to fight without skates isn't a thing. But, yes, fighting on skates is a special skill set, just as boxing and MMA are special skill sets.

Hockey fighting would not translate to MMA at all. So much is different about how you fight in hockey. You're on skates first of all and half of the skill is being able to pull the jersey over your opponents head.

NHL is soft these days tbh. Not basketball soft obviously but there aint no Proberts, Twists or Boogards around now.
The dimminished value of the enforcer doesn't mean that the NHL has gone soft. If packing your team with Tony Twist-type players would pay odd, teams would sign Tony Twist-type players. The 1975 Stanley Cup playoffs were the last time you could intimidate your way to a championship.

Hockey is quite popular in Texas. It has more professional hockey teams than any other state in the US. Texans tend to be connoisseurs of violence.

LOL...Evander Kane is 6'2" 220lbs, he's big for an NHLer and yes he takes both Paul brothers.
