it's soon peak flu season............... the virus gonna spread and transform, should be expected.

You trust Donald j trump the pussy grabbing jeniuses over scientists who have put their whole career towards their profession.
The Scientists have been leading us on. The FDA said to run the pcr covid test to 40 cycles. Now the World Health Organization came out on inauguration day and said they now know that the test was generating way too many false positives, because testing was running too many cycles. We've been getting false data from scientists. We cannot trust everything they are saying.

I will trust scientists over trump 100% of the time. 100%

That is your right. Good luck when the scientists start disagreeing though
So let me un pack this, do you believe that every scientist in the world has to agree on something otherwise trump has the answer? Because scientist are by definition supposed to test and have their theory scrutinized.
Some aren't as black and white as say gravity. But aren't you just trying to proportion that trump is god, or all knowing?
Amazing troll job tbf

Stay safe man, it's going around Cali like crazy!

Yes it is. I have suffered for about 10 days now. I am getting better after scoring Chloroquine Sulphate from a friend. That with Zinc and vitamins and I finally broke a fever and can eat. I was 210 lbs at the start of this, I am now 195 lbs. I still have headaches, but the nausea is gone too. My doctors refused all treatments, unless I was to be hospitalized. It makes no sense when there are cheap drugs that can knock this back and lessen the damage and suffering.

I understand California has the most cases, but per population California is 26th in cases and 37th in deaths. The Dakota brothers and Rhode Island are far worse.
Don't bring math and logic into this it'll rustle jimmies with certain people

"Scientists in California believe there is a homegrown coronavirus strain in the state that could be responsible for the dramatic rise in cases, a report said Sunday.

Two separate research groups have discovered the apparent California strain while looking for the new variant that is believed to have come from the United Kingdom, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The supposed California strain is in the same “family tree” as the UK strain and could be behind the state’s spread over the past few months, the paper said.

One of the labs that discovered the strain, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, said it amounted to 24 percent of about 4,500 viral samples gathered throughout California in the last weeks of 2020.

Another analysis found that 25 percent of 332 samples taken in Northern California were of the new strain.

“There was a homegrown variant under our noses,” Dr. Charles Chiu, a laboratory medicine specialist at University of California, San Francisco, told the newspaper.

Chiu said they only found the strain when searching for the UK variant.

Dr. Eric Vail, a pathologist at Cedars Sinai, said the strain could be responsible for doubling the state’s death toll in the space of less than three months.

“It probably helped to accelerate the number of cases around the holiday season,” Vail said.

“But human behavior is the predominant factor in the spread of a virus, and the fact that it happened when the weather became colder and in the midst of the holidays when people gather is not an accident.”

Damn. I live in cali and we went from the best to worst in covid. Now we may have our own strain. It's more infectious, but not more deadly. It's still deadlier in a sense because if it spreads more it can affect more people with preexisting conditions or old age.

This ain't gonna be fixed soon.

Lockdown again, then.

Matt Hanock said yesterday in the UK, "the variant I'm most afraid of is the one we haven't found yet".

Translation - we are never living a normal life ever again.

This virus has mutated about 30 times since it first arrived, it mutates every week. So if you're terrified of a new variant, then it's always coming, meaning you are always going to live in fear. It's very cute messaging, telling the masses we're in lockdown in some variety forever.

At least on mobile CNN has removed the covid ticker from the front page

Scientists...believe...See if you had told me scientists have observed, scientists have found evidence of that would mean something. Scientists believing something doesn't mean anything more than children believing in Santa.

Is it a soy based strain?
I love shitty jokes like this because of the wonderful irony that conservative farmers in US states are so heavily reliant on producing soy, moreso than any country outside of Brasil.

I thought the war room was the biggest exporter of soy?
