The issue here is that deaths that are not caused by covid are being counted as covid deaths.

Also, it is troubling that HOSPITALS get paid MORE for covid deaths. You are talking about a financial incentive in a capitalist system......hmm.... never abused??? Only a naive or a moron thinks so.

SWIM whose never worked a day in their life at the ripe age of 30 just became paralyzed from the neck down due to having too much free money from the government. The dude went on a 15k drug binge in a month, got an extension, bought a motorcycle, and practically killed himself. I guess you could blame covid in this instance

Holy shit, sorry to hear that and glad you are getting better. Mind me asking how old you are and if you had any preexisting contributing factors like asthma? Curious if you are outdoors a lot as sun light and vitamin D levels seems to be relevant too.
 
I suspect that the stats will be more realistic from here on out. Less people dying with covid and more people dying of covid. They got the orange man out so they can relax on the propaganda and put it to use elsewhere.

Italy is on the list, and the list is legit. In the EU the numbers are legit, outside the EU, North America, Australia and whichever are also legit. But these are only the top rankings so far.

Russia of course does like China, but it could be legit if they want to offer real numbers...

It's pretty naive to think hospitals submit fraudulent cause of deaths to increase billing charges, like somehow the health system is pretending there is a pandemic to get rich.

Hospital billings have always been based on the patients acuity, so the get paid more when someone is in the ICU as compared to a short stay. Back surgery pays more than stitches. This is how it's always been and is nothing new to the pandemic.

The thing is there are significant safeguards in place to monitor how the billings are done and the penalties for fraud are severe. In fact, whistle blowers who report fraud are entitled to triple damages as a reward I believe . Don't get me wrong, billing fraud does happen but it's pretty rare.

Further, for a death certificate to be marked covid it would take a doctor to go along with the diagnosis and that means putting their license on the line. Doctors are not going to knowing lie and jeopardize their license like that. Certainly not on a national scale or internationally for that matter.

The economic engine that supports a hospital is the surgery department especially outpatient surgeries. During the pandemic hospitals had to shut down their elective surgery departments which greatly affected their cash flow.

You rarely see the right get called a Nazi here because the defensive reaction is so over the top, but the right has no problem making constant direct accusations of the left being communists working for Stalin and Mao, or even actual direct Nazi comparisons like this shit.
