Not dress shoes sneakers. I go through Asics like crazy. They are OK but they only last a couple months before I need new ones. Im on my feet all day and walk around pretty much the whole time. Anyone have a recommendation?

They'll last you a long ass time.

We use a variety of work boots depending on the job, are you talking sneakers, formal or boot?

Sneakers. I have boots for certain jobs but a lot of my stuff just requires walking a lot.

Damn I'm the worst at sneaker recommends, we need some Fortnite kids in here stat

I'd say minimalist shoes because they feel the most natural and are great to develop the muscles in your feet. But not sure how long they will last if you go through sneakers that quickly.

Hush puppies worked well for me. Not casual though.

If you are standing all day get a softish mat to stand on. The science of them was pretty clear iirc.

I don't stand in one place. I walk a HUGE property all day.

I spend a lot of time outdoor, being a farm boy. Walking through mud, using shovels, stepping on all kinds of stuff. Got a pair of these and they're probably the most durable yet comfortable sneakers I had. Sketchers Afterburn. Not too bad to look at and reasonably priced, too.

I find something light with a thin sole is good for longer periods of time of just standing, double sock if temperature is an issue.

I used to work 12 hour shifts with only 30 minutes sat down, and I always found trainers I didn't expect to last did and one's that I thought durable would go to shit.

Have you tried New Balance?
Im on my feet all day on concrete and New Balance 409 Cross Trainers are the only shoe I'll use at work
Light, extra cushion, soft but supportive

Try a good medium weight trail running trainer, more sturdy than road shoes....

I used to work outside all day, averaging 25k steps a day with about 20kg on my back, including ladders and lots of steps.

New Balance were the worst. Done in a week. I may have been buying the wrong ones because I hear they're good from others.

What is your weight? I always found it was the sole that went first but heavy guys would destroy the foot bed along with the sole.

I tend to go with what shoes I like as a runner or cross trainer.
Asics gel for myself I prefer over Adidas. NB & Mizuno are good as well.

I’ve read & heard good things about certain models of Underarmour so I may add that to my list on next shoe to check out when these Asics gels give out in a few months of running.

Consider Adding an insole too, makes a big difference.
