Television WANDAVISION Discussion (Dragonlord's Review)

If you have seen the whole season of WANDAVISION, how would you rate it?

F4 has been formally announced and a logo released. Apart from Deadpool 3 it's been radio silence on anything X-Men related. We won't see an actual X-Men movie for at least three years, is my guess.

Sadly. And three years might be a liberal guess since it could very well be that the movies that were supposed to be either already released or on the docket like Eternals and Shang Chi don’t even see the light of day in 2021.

Vision vs Vision episode is gonna be called double vision, I just know it, and then he's gonna become a goodguy again, Wandas' vision instead of sword or ultron's vision or tunnel vision

Vision theme song.

don't speak this language so I like to pretend he's singing about Wandavision

I think white Vision will be a soulless robot and the entity living inside the town will take over and finally have a body.

Fucking loved this episode.

@Aegon Spengler Bettany is absolutely killing it as vision.

He ALWAYS kills it as Vision.

The prelude to his death was one of my favorite scenes in the MCU. He was amazing. Olson was also fucking fantastic.

I know I've posted this scene a dozen but I'm sure I'll post it a dozen more. I love it.

Like a wave washing over me

But Vision's response was perfect-

Grief is love.. persevering..

If you read my post in the marriage thread you'll know just how deeply a line like that would resonate with me.. holy shit Vision...

My version is: Grief is the price we pay for Love. If you didn't love the person you lost, you wouldn't grieve for them. One cannot exist without the other.

Great writing:cool:

Vision's last line in Infinity War, to Wanda as she's killing him.

"All I feel is you".

Wanda's last line to the real Vision, as she puts her hand on his head in the SWORD base,

"I can't feel you".

A-Level writing and performances across the board:cool:

You're back in this thread!! Yes!!

Breakfast for dinner is very offensive to witches. I’m not sure if you knew that before this episode but if you eat breakfast for dinner that’s like sleeping with Satan’s girlfriend.

I'd rather see the Dark Reign/Iron Patriot version of Osborn. Spider-Man himself has said that Osborn is at his most dangerous when he keeps his maniacal Goblin persona under control. He then has full access to his considerable intelligence and becomes a terrifyingly effective schemer.

The Green Goblin is rarely regarded in-universe as a heavyweight Big Bad, precisely because he spends so much time and energy obsessed with Spider-Man. Dark Reign and Siege showed exactly how lethal Osborn can be when he channels his psychopathy into pure lust for power.

- Manipulates public perception during Dark Reign, and his killing of the Skrull Queen to redeem himself in the public eye and become a, "Hero".

- Takes over SHIELD, renames it HAMMER(for no reason other than it sounds cool)and effectively becomes America's, "Top Cop".

- Modifies one of Iron Man's suits and takes on the identity of the Iron Patriot, a combination of both Iron Man and Captain America.

- Recruits his own, "Dark Avengers", made up of the worst Super-Villains he can find, including Bullseye, Daken(Wolverine's son)and Venom(Matt Gargen/Scorpion). He also manages to gaslight The Sentry, a being who is implied to be the literal Wrath of God, into being his personal living weapon.

- Kills thousands of innocent civilians in a bombing which he then blames on Asgardians. Which gives him the excuse to attack Asgard itself, eventually causing it to crash into the ground.

<mma4>

Well I guess the Green Goblin it is then.

Some random thoughts :

-Episode felt a bit weird fot some reason but i still kinda enjoyed it

- Agatha kinda felt "nightmarish" in this episode. She was pretty dark , especially at the end with that outfit and those magical leashes on the kids.

- Speaking about Agatha i don't think she wants to the kids. She just wants Wanda's ability to create worlds out

I agree. He will simply be a weapon that does what he is told by Hayward.

You all can wet your panties over the ladies but IMO Paul Bettany is a fucking treasure. Dude is so damn good. I have loved that dude since Master and Commander.
There was an interview with him on NPR a few years ago about how his career was over and his agent told him to accept it. All he could get now was small roles and the voice acting gig for Ironman. Then, one of the writers thought "what if Jarvis is the voice of Vision?"

Pretty cool.

I always wondered if he was pitched Vision from the get go. Damn, just showed how undeniable he was. Him and Elizabeth Olsen have perfect chemistry.

I was not as taken by the last episode as some of the sherbrahs but ive been enjoying the crap out of wandavision. Its not that the episode was bad, i was just ready to hop in with non white vision and crew running around in the "dream" and instead got hit in the feels...as a man i dont take kindly to unexpected jabs to the heart strings.

That awkward smirk he gave at the end of his chat with Wanda was gold.

Unfortunately I can't bring myself to love Bettany knowing that he's the lucky bastard that's banging Jennifer Connelly.

Dude you just blew my mind. Had no idea. Last thing I saw her in was the massively underrated Alita.

This show is amazing, simply amazing. I don’t know how the finale will play out but I know I would love for them to use it to introduce Magneto even though I know that’s a pipe dream. If this is the kind of quality we can expect from Disney + I can’t wait to see Falcon and Winter Soldier as well as Loki.
