And Ngannou hits damn hard and hes prob 280 and Tysons around 220. With mma gloves if Ngannou throws those haymakers i wouldnt be surprised if Ngannou power is comparable

I think he would have been too short and at a significant size disadvantage for MMA at HW. He probably would have dominated LHW though. Prime Tyson was 215-225, he could have easily cut to 205.

i think you have to take into consideration how Ngannou stops the grappling. he uses his size and strength. look how he draped his long frame over Stipe after initially sprawling. that's how he was able to do so much damage in the first rd. Tyson is too short and stocky for him to be able to do something like that.

also have to take into consideration that Tyson in his prime was like 215lbs. he would have a hard time dealing with the physicality of the bigger HWs like Curtis Blaydes in my opinion. however, his short stocky build would help him somewhat in that he has a very low center of gravity and it would be much more difficult to get take him down if you shoot for his legs.
