I have, and both times went well. Works fine if you are not a douche about it. You can politely say no to a request you do not have to say yes to. It’s really not that bad.

Which you'd be doing most times anyway if it was a single officer in most municipalities. The only data I've seen is from the California Highway Patrol and they've used PITs to stop high speed pursuits approximately 1% of the time. Consdering that they pioneered the technique in law enforcement, I doubt other states have higher usages. That vast majority of the time, single officers are not running erratic drivers off the street without some form of additional support.

You’re paranoid dude. Cops are not looking detain and arrest. If you’re following the rules, regulations and not hiding murder weapons or drugs there’s literally nothing to worry about.
