We can chuckle at some of this stuff but if you look at the big picture it's no laughing matter. There is a campaign, backed by powerful big-money interests, to replace biological sex with "gender identity" and these language games are just part of it.

I have to say it's disheartening to see the reaction of a lot of the liberal/Democrat type posters. It really exemplifies how deeply ingrained the tribalism has set in and how some of them are just stuck in the same old pattern, the one that Jon Stewart gave them: "hahaha guys look how the out-group noticed this! They're so crazy that they noticed this, they're not normal like us!" Of course conservative wingnuts do and say a lot of nutty things that are worthy of derision. But we're not talking about goofballs saying that Obama is a secret Muslim who is gonna use Jade Helm to take all your guns or whatever. Words like "woman" and "mother" have become forbidden words in the context of women's health in a growing number of institutions and I'm not talking about just on Tumblr or something - elected officials, government agencies, NARAL, Planned Parenthood etc. If somebody told these guys this would happen just a few years ago they wouldn't believe it and - again as Jon Stewart and John Oliver trained them to do - they would rain smug condescension on the person telling them. And yet here we are. How extreme will this gender ideology, which is fast becoming a state religion in Canada and growing in influence in the US, be in another 4 or 5 years? How far will it have to go before smarmy libs admit that it's gone off the rails I wonder?

Referring to “women”, in this instance biological females (regardless of if they prefer to be known as “men” or “women”) as Menstruating People is EXTREMELY strange if for no other reason than, trans-issues entirely aside, NOT ALL WOMEN MENSTRUATE. That absolutely disinherits anyone pre-pubescent or post-menopausal, as well as anyone with any related medical condition.

That’s a HUGE proportion of females who are not captured under the new word for “woman”. It’s nonsensical on it’s face because of how un-inclusive it is.
