I think you're half right about distrust of the pharmaceutical industry but the other part is distrust of the government that is promoting these vaccinations.

If the FDA had the type of accountability and oversight necessary for regulating the pharmaceutical industry then these opioids should not have been approved for treatment the way they were.

I've been saying this for a while. It would go 1st dose, 2nd dose, booster, 3rd dose, 4th dose, booster, booster, booster, booster, every year, every six months, every three months, every month until you're fucking dead dead dead.

also you really think national healthcare fixes the problem of corrupt politicians making corrupt decisions that serve their own self interest?
 
Half the drug discoveries and treatments for all kinds of illnesses wouldn't be there if there was no profit incentive to make them.

The skepticism is because it was rushed without long term trials, they have tricked people into harmful medical experiments before, they've exempted the companies from any liability, and are still trying to force young people and previously infected people to take them even though they don't need them, and trying to lure people into medical experiments by crushing burgers into your face like you're trying to lure a dog into the car, then having your tech buddies censor any discussion about it is obviously not going to inspire a lot of confidence, so I'm afraid you're just going to have to count on your vaccine working and let other people make their own medical decisions.
 
if taking a 4th or 5th dose would protect grandma and end this pandemic, then everyone has the responsibility as a citizen to take the dose

Ryan grim had a piece on Biden admin trying to implement some simple plan to Medicare and it’s estimated to take 4-6 years to implement

let’s face it, none of the govt institutions are functioning. We need to have a functioning govt and system in order to have anything like you want.
I say start a new department from scratch and start off small. Like have it give everyone 3-4 annual doc visits and dental visits. Covering medicines, small/minor procedures and simple testing. If we can do that without creating another VA, add to its depth and breadth

Putting in a drug price floor and cap would work to keep drug costs down and allow drug conspires to be profitable. Instead of allowing them unlimited pricing under patent. Cap it to also allow them to profit when it comes off patent.

Israel has nowhere near a high vaccination rate. It became an illusion becauddse they were the first to roll out the mass vaccines.
Only 61% fully vaxxed

Despite that, their booster program is working

Profit can exist with national healthcare. Medicare negotiates its own rates for services and drugs and gets a considerable bargain. Drug and treatments are already incredibly subsidized by research done at universities. Private medicine comes in and takes the research and commercializes it. This idea that drug and other medical companies fund their own research is pretty much a hoax.

Fat people need to get their shit together and lose weight. I'm tired of people telling me I'm selfish because I don't want to take experimental drugs to save their fat asses. If government actually cared about our health, they would focus on that first and foremost. Government and big pharma are full of shit and don't care about anyones health, they just care about getting more money and power. I'm tired of them, they can go get fucked.

But Medicare for All would not operate like the VA. It only replaces the insurance industry. Hospitals will keep operating like they do now.
