If they don't have a new engine I promise you I'm not paying money for the same game again. :)

It will be about 20 years on the same engine.

Can you imagine if they built gta3 with the same engine as donkey Kong? Released almost exactly 20 years apart.
 
I mean....I'm sure the engine will be improved but....Jesus Christ.

After the Fallout 76 debacle, maybe theyre just out of touch. I'll reserve judgement until I see what Starfield looks like. But still.

I thought that about TW 3, too. NPC‘s are perfectly made, like real characters that have a personality. I connected with a game the first time ever since I was a child.

I think it’s a little too easy though, maybe it’s because I didn’t go for the post game content yet.

The DLC is more than worth the price of admission. All the downloadable content is made as well or better than the base game.

Yeah, the DLC were great
Hearts of Stone was the best, imo
The only problem I had with the Witcher was the combat system, cause it was a bit too easy
 
I so hope that they make a good elder scrolls 6. I got multiple versions of Skyrim, most recent being switch, and don’t want the same game again.
 
They really need a change of pace. It'd be fun if the series went in a more role-playing, slice-of-life direction. Like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing. Not completely that way but just tying the character to some kind of reality somehow.

I don't think they can beat the atmosphere of Witcher 3, and a slice-of-life game doesn't compete with that so much. At least not in the same way.

So you play as a human character and move into a village full of Khajit and Argonians who declare you mayor of the town?

I dunno, that game would be like 95% doing fetch quests for lazy villagers, decorating your house, gardening, collecting clothes and knickknacks, and just walking around doing noth... wait, that describes like half of my Skyrim playthroughs

The Unreal Engine has been around for 20 years. Rockstar have been using their engine for 13 years now.

I usually end up owning both consoles through a generation's life cycle so this doesn't bother me. As someone who has Game Pass, I got a x Box One S over a PS5 to start this gen. I'll get my PS5 eventually.

So, with that said, that means I'll get this for free on day one on the One S. Nice. I love free games.

ELDER SCROLLS 6 IS STILL 5+ YEARS AWAY, SAYS PHIL SPENCER
Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said that although there are currently no confirmed platforms for Elder Scrolls 6, the game is still 5+ years away.

The news comes from the FTC vs Microsoft trial (full coverage here), in which Phil Spencer was asked about console exclusivity on Bethesda’s games. Speaking on Elder Scrolls 6, Spencer said, “With Elder Scrolls VI, it’s so far out–it’s hard to understand what platforms it will even be at this point. It’s the same team that’s finishing Starfield, which comes out this September. So we’re talking about a game that’s like five-plus years away.
