I'm pretty sure that TYS will be very near the end of the movie. You can almost guarantee that not everyone Peter cares about is going to make it out the film alive.

If the first two Spidey movies were his equivalents of Avengers and Age of Ultron, then this is his Infinity War.

I just watched the trailer again, and there's alot I missed on the first viewing, like this voice-over dialogue that starts to get serious around half-way through.

Doc Oc - "You're flying out into the darkness to fight ghosts."
Peter Parker - "What do you mean?"
Dr. Strange - "They all die fighting Spider-Man. Its their fate."

Dr. Strange - "I'm sorry, kid."
Peter Parker - "Yeah, me too."

Peter Parker - "There has to be another way!"
Dr. Strange - "There isn't. They're a danger to our universe."

Green Goblin - "Peter, you're struggling. To have everything you want. While the world tries to make you choose."

Peter Parker to Mary Jane - "This is all my fault. I can't save everyone."

Yeah, but this movie is overfilled as it is, and there's already one Venom practically confirmed.

could argue other than Dafoe and Molina all the others villains were hated.

You would be very very wrong.

People even wanted to see the Rhino just because they want to see a bunch of villans together and millions of references to other films.

There's 5 confirmed villains, and chances are Tom Hardy's Venom will be the 6th to make it the Sinister 6.

That's not counting the flashes of the possible Hob-Goblin.

Even if this movie has a 150 minute runtime its going to be overfilled with all the characters I mentioned.

In fact I can't recall a movie with so many loved characters in it, besides the mega-crossovers like Civil War, Infinite War, and Endgame. And the vast majority of those characters you see for a glympse, a glorified cameo, or perhaps two or three minutes maximum screentime.

The bigger the number of characters, the lesser screentime they all get.

No one cared about the Lizard looking like Killer Croc .
No one cared about Blue Electro.
Rhino was a cameo.

Other than Molina and Dafoe the others are filler, they are cool as references having them in a bunch and people like Jaimie Foxx but his Electro sucked balls.
