News Jeremy Stephens has parted ways with the UFC after finishing his contract

Good move, dude is gonna be a puncher's chance away from making 1 milly.

Can’t hate on the guy, he gave RDA a welcoming party to the UFC

The only thing that worries me is what "parted ways" means...

Jeremy Stephens is on a bad losing streak, okay, he's not hopeless, but he's faced a murderer's row of opponents and I'm not sure I want to see him rocking up in Bellator or PFL (or worse, BKFC).

I assumed the UFC were going to give him another fight since Dana has an obvious man crush on JS, and given what's happened with Alvey it wouldn't be totally out of the question, but this whole deal about his contract simply expiring and no agreement being reached? Sounds awful like Stephens thinks he's got a run in him in another org...

Dude he's on a 5 fight losing streak and he's 35. The cut is fine.
"Dude he's on a 5 fight losing streak"
That's your reply to him addressing the 5 fight losing streak?

Most fighters in the division would be on a 5 fight losing streak to those guys if they could even qualify to fight them. Or an even simpler way of putting it is they'd lose to Stephens

According to Uncle Dana, he's a beast.

That’s a bummer, his fights are always entertaining

Every Conor crybaby will be posting that meme but all your fights were explosive and fun. Thanks and best of luck out there.

Probably a good call to leave and try your hand at making a million in the PFL. Last years lightweight winner was nothing special

What? Look who he's lost to. Gamrot, Kattar, Yair, Zabit, Aldo. All elite fighters, no shame in losing to any of them

Bad cut. Should have given him some unranked guys

losing to every decent fighter means you're not decent enough to hang
you're gonna take a decade tenured fighter and work his way back up from the lowest of ranking? for what?
it's time to go
it was time to go 4 fights ago

I wish him the best. He always brought it.
