UFC 273: Volkanovski vs. Korean Zombie

I Love under 2.5 but also like 1.5.
Im using bet365 and have under 2.5 there
Under 2.5 seems very generous, Id say thats a lock. 1.5 is pushing it, but I just cant see it leaving the first round. I think there might be more value in Betting Chimaev as a first round stoppage rather than a round and a half. What do you think about that?

Pichel/Madsen,Pennington/Ladd,Co-main and main should all hit over 2,5.Problem is the odds aren't great.I'll try to mix something up.
Like leftones mentioned under 2,5 on Burns-Chimaev has value.
Chimaev ITD also opened at 1,72 on bet365 which is more then other sites and unlike his ML think it has value,I managed to catch it,now it's down to 1,57.
Sterling put a crazy pace unsustainable for more than 2 rounds and still wasn't dominant in those rounds. His chances for victory are really small,Yan later rounds is an ok play, also Yan uninamous DEC is 3,10 which is playable.

To me it felt like Yan was on his way to a finish in the 5th. Similar to the Aldo fight, Yan has this tendency to keep scorecards close but personally I think that's just his style of being patient in the earlier rounds to get his reads.

I like to compare Yan to Silva in terms of their fight IQ, confidence, finishing instincts.

Im feeling a Yan finish and will also play his Rd 4 and rd 5 props.
Im gonna live bet this one, i wanna see who is the fresher fighter to the 5th, wont be much of a risk for that value.

Nah Yan was up 29-28 on 2 cards & Sterling up 29-28 on the other, with all momentum going Yan's way. Also he was about a -3000 fav going into round 4 (I remember because I have PTSD from not cashing out my small Yan bet lol <Lmaoo>)

You can definitely make a case for Sterling to perform better than the first time & make some good adjustments, but it's still hard to envision his path to victory. Especially after going 1 for 17 on his takedown attempts and Yan looking like the better grappler.

If he pushes more to the cage and opts to wrestle while winning the kicking exchanges, i can see him stealing rounds. Yan wasn't exactly completely fresh.

And Yan took a lot of blows in that Cory fight, i wonder what that fight did to his body with all the strikes he absorbed.

If the odds get that inflated in the 5th, im gonna small sprinkle Sterlin. not a strong lean here , but expect this bout to be competitive.

I also dont think highly of Yan's fight iq, that dq knee was retarded. Should have known that was illegal. Bone head decisions like that can cost him points if he fouls Alja again.

I like too Chimaev in first but Burns could survive and gassing in second. I not thing that Durinho survive more than 7.5 minutes. I will put some vale on Khamzat in round 1.

I like The overs Yan/Sterling and Yan decision.

Volkanovski and Yan are gonna dominate. They are the 2 best fighters in the world and dominate in some of the hardest divisions. They honestly have no weaknesses, sure Volk can play it safe, but the man doesn't lose rounds and I think he really wants a finish after he should've gotten one last fight. Zombie has seen it all and good everywhere but Volkanovski is a terrible style matchup for him and probably the best fighters he's ever faced. Ige is a walmart Volkanovki and won rounds vs Zombie (no disrespect to Ige, still a great fighter) but Volkanovski is a fighting savant and the smartest fighter in the sport.

Yan finish in round 4 or 5 have good odds. Only problem with Yan is his static high guard which can allow an easy route for bodyshots, but Sterling doesn't have much power and Yan ate Aldo's best shots who may have the best bodypunching in MMA. Sandhagen and Aldo are levels above Sterling's striking but Yan shut them down and Sterling's extremely inefficient fighting style will lead him to gas out after looking decent for 2 rounds. The nerves he's going to have when fighting Yan will deplete him too. Yan also pretty much always loses the 1st round but the man is a terminator with a combat computer for the brain and wins the next 4. He's built to fight.

Call me a fanboy, but these 2 fighters are special. Some of the most well rounded fighters in the sports history and skill wise they're on the level of GOATS.
Enjoy the two best fighters on the planet ladies and gents.

Who here also thinks Sterling upsets Yan? They were both 2-2 had it gone the 5th. I can see Alja changing his pace and winning a close split dec. no way should Yan be a -450 or -500

That is not true at all lol.

Volk vs KZ: I think Volk dominates KZ. Zombie typically fades early and then just coasts in the later rounds. Volk seems to pick up steam as the fight goes on and has proven he's not going down without one hell of a beating. Zombie seems focused on life outside of MMA as well. Volk ML seems like the smart bet, regardless of odds (as close to guaranteed money as MMA gets).

Khamzat vs Burns: I'm leaning Khamzat, I think the size and power differential will be evident. Burns could pull off the upset, but I doubt it. Might not hurt to livebet this one though.

Yan vs Sterling: I think this will be a lot closer than many think. If Sterling paces himself a bit better, and comes in with a better gameplan, there is a path to victory for him here (although it will be hard earned). Smart bet would be to bet on over 1.5 or over 2.5, and then just live bet accordingly.

Rozenstruik vs Tybura: I like Rozenstruik in that one.

Its not what we think, its what the judges could score it, which was proven that one judge had 2 for Alja and the other two judges gave him the second round. When I say a fighter could win a split decision I’m basing it on what judges take into account including potential controversial decisions.
