I read your user name as "Rocco Stiffredi"... like it's already stiff, like a rock.

It may as well be.

Rocco Siffredi (born Rocco Antonio Tano; 4 May 1964) is an Italian pornographic actor, director and producer of pornographic movies. He took his stage name from the character Roch Siffredi played by Alain Delon in the French gangster film Borsalino (1970). Known as the "Italian Stallion", Siffredi has starred in more than 1,300 pornographic films.[1][2][3][4]

It was Siffredi's performances involving anal sex and anilingus, as well as rough sex and his psychological intensity and athleticism, which earned him recognition and ultimately a cult following. Through collaboration with John Stagliano's Evil Angel studio and then his own Rocco Siffredi Produzioni as both a performer and director, Siffredi became one of the most powerful and recognizable personalities in pornography. "Rocco has far more power in this industry than any actress," Stagliano commented in 2001.

The vast majority of the country disapprove of this. Now that Democrat voters aren't distracted by Trump and how they're supposed to hate him, I think we'll see some pushback on this nonsense.

So Twitter banned a lady for calling this pro pedo tweet demonic.

the left seems to be normalizing pedophilia IMO. Remember how the left defended cuties on Netflix?

Clown world is no longer funny, it’s downright scary how depraved this shit has become

It certainly does nothing to quell the conspiracy theorists who claim that this is on the horizon - ie - the normalisation of paedophilia. You have Leftist academics giving lectures about how it should be considered a sexual 'type' rather than a crime, also. Something very dark is going on with the Left.

The discussion in the Jenner/Girl's Sports thread got me thinking about this issue again. I was reminded of this article I read about suicide in the native communities of Canada (called First Nations up there):
https://web.uvic.ca/psyc/lalonde/manuscripts/2008HealingTraditions.pdf

Chandler & Lalonde said:
Our approach to this critical problem [suicide] has been to extend, to the level of whole communities, our working hypothesis that acts of suicide are best understood as the by-product of a fractured or disabled effort to secure a sense of identity in time. As already suggested in our brief introduction, if entire cultures are to be identified and reidentified as self-same, they must possess, like individual persons, some procedural means to warrant their claims for persistence despite all the changes inevitably wrought by time and circumstance.

On this account, continuity (both self-continuity and cultural continuity) is constitutive of what it could possibly mean to be a self or to have a culture. Any serious disruption to those practices that serve to make a diachronic unity out of one’s past, present, and future is likely to prove equally corrosive to well-being. More particularly, anything that serves to cost either individuals or whole cultures their ties to the past and their stake in the future will rob them of just those responsible commitments and hoped-for prospects that ordinarily make living seem better than dying.

Translated from Academy-speak, suicide happens when young people have a difficult time connecting their present to their past and future. They may know (intellectually at least) that they are the same person as before, but they feel alienated from their past and unable to imagine their future. That's what the authors call "diachronic unity."

Their hypothesis--and I think it's decent one--is that that sense of diachronic unity both gives life meaning and makes adversity survivable for people. There is a past to anchor to, and a future that they can look forward to or at least imagine.

I was reminded of transgenderism, in which one attempts to sever one's connection to the past by literally mutilating one's body, changing one's name, and completely refashioning one's life. It's an interesting idea, transgenderism as an escape from time: from past, from family, from culture, from commitments, and of course from the specter of real identity (which is obviously socially negotiated, and not the product of masturbatory solipsism).

It seems to me that there is a possibility that transgenderism comes from the same psychological place as suicide; it serves some of the same functions. Is it any wonder that suicide and transgenderism are so intimately intertwined?

It's even there in their preferred newspeak: deadnamed. Bruce is dead. Isn't he? He's still walking about, talking, eating, and so forth.

Was the idea to kill Bruce? Is he really dead?

Excellent posts, man. Very interesting actually, I hadn't thought of it like that at all.

Authorities are investigating a possible hate crime after alleged members of the far-right group Proud Boys shouted anti-LGBTQ slurs during a “Drag Queen Story Hour” for young kids at a San Francisco library over the weekend.

Deputies were called to the San Lorenzo Library on Saturday afternoon after five men allegedly stormed the reading for preschool-age children during Pride Month, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office said.”

(any war roomers have this shirt?)

“The men were described as extremely aggressive with a threatening violent demeanor causing people to fear for their safety.”

Also, merge this with the mega thread if you want.

Not a huge fan of drag queen story hours in schools, but totally disagree with this type of thuggery. The Proud Boys are stepping into what they've been accused of quite comfortably now. Hoping they weren't armed, because a group of guys busting into a schools with guns is a really, really bad thing to set as a precedent right now - unless they're busting in to deal with a shooter.

Did they touch anyone? fuck off if they didn’t. They’re dipshits begging for attention and the left just lines up to give it to them. Just let them show kids how grown men tuck their balls into their panty hose

Stepping into?

You think the accusations came before the behavior?
