LOL from Star Wars to this.
Beg to differ, with hespect.
I find audience scores way too skewed in favor of popular taste, which is far from the best way to assess a film's merits.
That's just me, of course.
I do find myself siding with critics, most of the time, as I'm a part-time movie reviewer myself. hahaHell yea haha. I've seen like 80-90% audience score and like 15-20% critic score on RottenTomatoes. IDC what a critic has to say. I care more about what the audience thought of it.

Morbius, for example, has an audience score of 71%, and I can't tell you how many glasses of scotch I've had to down just to get through that pile of shit.

I'm usually at odds with most audience scores, to be honest.True, but you're more likely to find common ground there to make an informed decision sir.
Yes I amPompous ass lol
id pay to see rolly pollie fat carano naked in a heartbeatUnless she's nude I probably won't tune in
You do know that she was fired and blacklisted for being an open conservative, right? She didn't do anything wrong, the House of Rat is only tolerant of speech and views that cater to their ideology. That's why actors like Pascal, Evens, and Ruffalo can call Republicans and Conservatives nasty things openly and get praised by Hollyweirdos.
Getting a good rating after multiple reviews from reputed critics are the the best way to gauge how good it is (they don't always get it all the time of course).
IMO the audience wanted to see a western. They are judging it based upon their expectations. I find that to be more accurate than a critic. Hespect back atcha.
Yea man I hope she does well too. And yes i "wood" too.

Not the most fun dude to be with at watch parties, since I'm a snobby son-of-a-bitch, unless you'd love to have someone impale a bad movie for bullshit and cookie-cutter MO

LmaoYes I am
I actually love Westerns. Once Upon A Time In The West, Unforgiven, Clint Eastwood's trio with Sergio Leone. Even of late there's been a few good ones, like the Sisters Brothers, for example. Even The Hateful Eight was quite a blast to watch.IMO the audience wanted to see a western. They are judging it based upon their expectations. I find that to be more accurate than a critic. Seeing as how you are just one person, I would take your opinion as just that. These critics are paid to watch movies and review them. It's a job to them. I know there is passion but in the end it is a job.
If I were a critic I would give Sci-Fi and Fantasy higher ratings and Love Stories lower rating based upon my taste. I dont think you can be unbiased as a critic. I rarely pay attention to what a critic says. And by "rarely" i mean pretty much never.
@StonedLemur.. thoughts?

I doubt this Cerrone/Carano outing is of the same caliber but who am I to say that when I haven't even seen a trailer FFS. haha
Well, those you mentioned although being actually great films are more revisionist westerns more than pure western movies themselves. Leone was hugely influenced by Kurosawa who, in turn, was influenced by John Ford... The more recent flicks also follow this same trend.I actually love Westerns.
