The cop that shot the kid in Columbus shouldn’t have been a cop because he was fired 18 years ago. And the warrant that the cops were serving was because he and his gf got into an argument.
Well, at least that’s how it’s portrayed in this article.

First, like breona taylor, this man was NOT SLEEPING. No one sleeps through 8 minutes of pounding and yelling your name while your buddies hope the police just move on. There is no fucking way on earth that his buddies didn’t wake him up and say “dude, the cops are here for you.” Oh, and then there is the dog barking and the officer saying “I am going to release the dog.” Yet, when he decides to “wake up” he sits straight up in bed holding his arm out keeping in mind that police were there to arrest him for a firearm related offense and domestic violence (according to the beast, they got into an argument) but they want to talk about the cop’s “criminal history.” There are of course no details, no charges were ever filed or suggested, he was fired for what sounds to me, like abusing an overtime extra job detail because he had been working at a bank when whatever happened occurred. The officer and the FOP fought the firing and won and he was reinstated, but somehow, this is a travesty of justice that he is still a cop, meanwhile, the shithead he shot was being arrested for the following (version differs from the beast that says he pushed her during an argument)
“
Lewis was wanted on a felony warrant for domestic violence, assault and improperly handling of a firearm, according to Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant.
According to records from Franklin County Municipal Court, Lewis' girlfriend told police she was pregnant with his child.
The complaint states that on Aug. 10, the two began to argue at Westgate Park when "Lewis shoved her off the chair she was sitting in, and she then rolled down a small hill."
She ran to a nearby KFC to call police. That's when officers noticed she had a "black mark underneath her right eye."
She told police Lewis punched her in the face three to four days prior to their argument and that "Lewis assaulting her is something that frequently happens."
Records show this is not the first time Lewis has been charged with domestic violence.
In April 2021, a complaint was filed against him for allegedly punching his mother.
According to the complaint, "when the mother wouldn't let him in the house after he took something that wasn't his, he kicked the front door open." His mother told police he began punching her.” Oh, and there is also this:”
In June 2020, another complaint details how Lewis hit another woman "with a closed fist."
When police caught him, "Lewis admitted to striking her with a closed fist" and was placed under arrest for assault.
Records show Lewis was also wanted on a felony charge of improperly handling a firearm in a car.”
Do you know how you get a mishandling a firearm in a car charge? Drive by shootings or firing a gun from a moving car.
