Ukraine warns of nuclear disaster
Petro Kotin, the head of Ukraine's state nuclear company Energoatom, warns that the diesel generators at the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant have only a limited supply of fuel at present.

Shelling overnight knocked out power to the facility, which needs cooling to avoid a meltdown, forcing it to switch to emergency generators.

Kotin tells the BBC that they are "just working on the logistics to deliver more fuel to the generators".

- If they run out of fuel, they will stop and then there will be a disaster. There will be a meltdown of the active core and release of radioactivity from there, he says.

Look they can say we fixed and have automobiles or wagons running. But not because it was actually fixed, but because they are CRAZY. And everyone going through that damage now, risking their own life is a CRAZY person. There's 100% structural damage inside the armor of the concrete holding the railway. Your ego kills you.

You can always fireproof concrete with asbestos if you care little about long term health effects, but there is no telling since its Russia.

Not really, because its hard to know how much concrete was affected by the heat, if it losses compression i can seem firm and usable and then fail catastrophically.

Reason Putin loves his life and his money and that would go by in a millisecond. Biden said what he did about armageddon to push a response "Mostly to China or India" they have not changed their position about the use of nuclear weapons and there is no current plans to use them. The nobel thing was nobel being nobel as far as handing out prizes.

Yeah, as i said in an ealier post, if the concrete is fine repairing it is easy, that being said, i don't think Russia actually cares at this point if the concrete is compromised so they will just keep using the bridge hoping it won't fail.

If they were able, they already had launched and it is ridiculous business game: like Ukr should fight with hands tied back and russia still is ....big winner brother....might launch missiles from belarus and russia, so ukr does have legit rights to strike even Moscow or Minsk.
