Bellator LHW is better and I'd put Patrício Pitbull up against Volkanovski - I'd love to see Ngannou head over to Bellator along with his cash grab boxing matches.

Volk would have an easy night with Patricio imo. He's better at all Patricio's strengths.

Easy night?? - absolutely not. Not convinced he'd win period - Patricio KTFO Chandler and took it to an undefeated Blue Chip AJ McKee.
Ultimately hard to say, I'd love to see it.

By took it you mean barely won the 2nd fight after being starched and embarrassed in the 1st?

People forget that Movlid got absolutely demolished by the one night juicy version of Daniel Pineda. It wasn't even competitive, I highly doubt he beats Yair or Emmett (though neither of them beat Max assuming he stays in the division)

I wouldn't be too confident in current Mighty Mouse over Moreno either, MM has slowed down a tad.

I disagree on Yair beating Movlid, I just can't get past how bad he looked with his defensive wrestling vs Stephens, Holloway and Edgar. Agree to disagree. Emmett I'm just not that high on and he's old but I could see that being a tough fight, Emmetts a strong athlete, explosive puncher, solid wrestling base and great gas tank but I'm still not confident he beats Movlid. It's competitive in my opinion.

I think Mighty Mouse and Horiguchi would be competitive with Moreno and Deiveson, I'm not confident either way really, we haven't seen the Gooch at 125lbs for a while and Mighty Mouse has been fighting in a weird division in One but I'm certainly not confident Moreno is the best Flyweight in the world, at all.

I think Anderson vs Hill is hard to call, I think deducing how he looked vs a 43 year old Glover coming off a war is a bit premature. I think Anderson could put a pace and find takedowns a lot easier than Glover did, it would be such a different fight. Glover has been so shot for so long, the division is just terrible, he's like 1/2 the speed he was a decade ago and 1/2 the wrestler too it's kinda sad.

"Barely??" No, he made the right adjustments and earned a solid win - no questions, no split decision no robbery. Could easily be seen as 4 rounds to 1 - that ain't "barely."

Nice avatar - gotta love the Peppermint Patty haircut, Anton Chigurh FTW. Can't resist, great scene -

How does he win though? Volk isn't chinny at all so it's tough to see him catching him with anything. Volk is faster than Patricio, probably too fast for him to effectively counter. I think very highly of Patricio, but I've always thought Volk and Max are just absolute stylistic nightmares for him.

I just don't think Movlid is anything special really. He's good but after rocking Andre Harrison he was having a very tough time with him and then there was the trashing by Pineda. He's good at the Dagi style cage wrestling but I don't think he's amazing at it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Loughnane beats him in a rematch now he's levelled up his TDD.

I think the flyweight fights are competitive for sure, but I thought you were saying Moreno wasn't on their level, which is where I would have disagreed.

I do agree that Corey could potentially wrestle Hill, but I think it's a very tough fight for him and anyone thinking Corey would win easily would be in for a shock.

The way hill fought other night he would win

I want to see that rematch between Loughnane and Movlid, I was impressed with how well Loughnane handled Wade and Jenkins. Quite a few PFL fights I want to see honestly.

Nah I think Moreno is on their level, I do think Mighty Mouse from a few years ago was clearly better but I think they've come a lot closer in abilities now. I think I feel somewhat similar with Horiguchi, it's a close one vs Moreno, his style of striking I think can give a pressure fighter like Moreno some trouble and I suspect after the multiple Caldwell fights and Mix, his defensive wrestling would probably shine from all that preparation vs a guy like Moreno where he could show it, rather than vs guys who are colossally outsizing him at 135lbs. But I think they're all relative competitive and interesting fights on paper. I wasn't declaring confidence in most of my suggestions if it came off that way, just that it was by no means clear the UFC guys were better.

Jiri beats both as long as he fully recovers from his injury.

lol at some in here still underestimating Hill.

Also would have Nemkov beat Glover? I don't feel that is an easy answer.

Corey beat prime version of Glover 30-27
Davis beat prime version of Glover 30-27

And they didn't have anything for Nemkov. You don't think Nemkov can beat 43 years old Glover that moves in slow motion? wtf dude {<jordan}{<jordan}

You're a UFC shill or somebody that doesn't watch MMA outside of UFC if you think Nemkov isn't a better fighter than Hill.

I could understand thinking this if Hill/Glover had been some close fight where Hill showed his expected ground weakness to Glover's grappling, meanwhile the striking was somewhat close and he just picked up a hard fought decision.

But saying this after Hill dominated him, stuffed 15/17 TDs, escaped a 5th round mount, and dominated the striking too, all on short notice after having prepared for a completely different fighter in Smith, is ridiculous.

Maybe Nemkov is the better fighter. But his path to victory got A LOT smaller after Hill showed that Nemkov's grappling may not be a factor any more. And it's silly to pretend otherwise.

The shill here is you. And you're a Bellator shill. Which is just... Ew.

It's humorous people think Hill would be favored over guys like Nemkov, Anderson, Davis etc. Beating corpses of fighters isn't particularly special. Hill looks like the exact same fighter, very basic.

It reminds me of everyone thinking Ortega is the greatest FW ever with unbelievably improved stand-up after beating up on KZ who admittedly remembered nothing after the spinning elbow. The fact he actually couldn't put away a guy who was literally out on his feet over five rounds should have been a bigger focus point. There's not much difference in people's reaction to Hill-Glover. Glover is the man but he's moving in quicksand and can barely function at this point.

The UFC brand name is a hell of a thing. Turns people all sorts of crazy.
