Who wins if they were to fight?

Well fuck. I wonder if Nemkov entertained offers from other orgs?

Yeah, it's a bit of a let down tbh. Bellator has some good LHWs but he's already beaten Corey, Davis twice and Anglickas. So there's not many people for him to fight, I think they're doing old Yoel next, but after that they'll have to find an interesting challenger from the Moore, Albrektsson etc part of the division.

Yeah I’d actually really like to see that Albrektsson fight run back. But aside from that, I agree, there aren’t many great options on the horizon. Bummer.

He'd smash Karl these days tbh, it might be worth it just to get the loss avenged, but it wouldn't be competitive imo. Karl is too stuck in the mud on his feet and I don't think he can take Vadim down anymore.

It depends where the fight takes place. I think Bellator is a little lax with the testing and the competitors there might have a drop in performance outside of Bellator. It's not a knock on Nemkov. It's just Bellator doesn't have testing in place yet outside of athletic commissions.

I don't think Hill is that skilled yet. He is somewhat of a brawler. He is budget Rumble with better cardio. I don't think he stays champion for long unless he gets maybe an Anthony Smith matchup etc etc.

Lol this dumb considering guys in the UFC are still on steroids even with this "advanced testing" program you speak of

Agree. And yes, smashing Albrektsson and getting that win back is exactly what I have in mind.

TBH all these dudes would have been behind Jones, DC, Rumble and Gus in that era. So it's just a bad era in general, whether it's Nemkov, Jiri, Ankalaev or Hill.

Hopefully we'll discover a new true top level LHW soon.
I don't think you should put Gus on there tbh. Love the guy but I know he'd find a way to choke against at least half those guys if it were a big fight.

Yeah man, Bellator totally holds the majority of their events on Indian Reserves and overseas simply to save money.

<YeahOKJen>

Nemkov vs Anderson 2 was in Chicago
Fedor vs Bader 2 is in LA
Moldavsky vs Bader was in Phoenix

Nemkov.. That’s the guy that was getting his ass kicked by Anderson, right? Until an unfortunate clash of heads created a Doctor stoppage, no contest?

That’s the guy you’re talking about, right? The same guy Jiri beat?

lol. He’s not that great.

Ridiculous thread.
You did see that Nemkov outclassed Corey in their rematch, right? Or should we bring up Hill's embarrassing loss to Craig to discredit him? How about Jiri walking straight into King Mo's punch and face planting? Or Glover getting outwrestled by both Phil and Corey?

We can play the discrediting game all day, dude. It's MMA, almost all guys have bad performances or lose fights.

Tbf James is gassed beyond belief.
So was Lesnar and he didn’t get pulled from the card.
Commission testing isn’t the strictest thing ever, but some people act like Bellator overseas is the wild Wild West and anything goes, and that’s just not true. We’re all so used to USADA it’s become this gold standard. But every one of Josh Barnett’s 6 million failed tests were commission testing, Overeem finally popping, Forrest Griffin’s Xanax, Stephan Bonnar, Tim Sylvia, and on and on. All commission based testing.
Jon Jones claims he hid under the octagon at Jackson Wink from NSAC ;)

Do you know what the word majority means?

They use the Mohegan Sun commission to test and regulate when they are overseas. Last year in France, they busted Daniel James.

Which gives them authority to test fighters who have fights actually signed, sometimes during camp but mostly as pre or post fight tests. Which are only urine tests.

Not whoever in the roster, whenever they want, wherever they want, random blood tests, like happens in the UFC.

Bellator fighters themselves complain about the lack of drug testing and you're here trying to shill for them.

“I should have won this match even with him using PEDs,” Mousasi told Vechtersbazen Podcast, and translated by MMA Junkie. “I told the commission that it’s clear that he was on PEDs,” Mousasi said. “(The commissioner) gave me a pat on the shoulder and told me that he was going to get tested on fight day and walked away.

“I have also sent Scott Coker a text, because I saw a picture of (Lovato Jr.) that did not look natural,” Mousasi said. “He told me that he would get back at me and call me. I didn’t hear anything back.”

Mike Mazzulli, who was overseeing commission activities for Bellator 223, also confirmed that Lovato was tested on the day of the fight and that he passed his urine test.
