Nemkov is more well-rounded and more proven. His 2 wins over Phil Davis make a better resume than any of the UFC LHW champs since Jones left. Still, I really like Hill and hope to see him keep improving and rack up some title defenses.

Also the Jiri fight isn't relevant anymore, it's been like 7 years now. Nemkov would smoke him if they fought today.

Here's a simple fact : UFC is the gold standard. If you're supposed to be better, you have to prove it in the UFC. I'm not saying you can't find better fighters elsewhere, but it's just useless speculation until proven otherwise in the UFC.

This has been covered, it was because of the quick turnaround. Nemkov wasn’t informed that the Yoel fight was being booked/announced for Feb 4. He just fought Nov 18, and didn’t feel he’d be ready by Feb 4. Nemkov-Yoel will be rebooked.

Didn’t forget, went with the much more recent fight, and even if we call it a counflip that doesn’t change the fact that if they’d never fought, you’d say Corey beats him easily. Because you’re just guessing that the Bellator guys are better. It seems to me that LHW is simply down right now across the board.
