When the CEO says "hope we're able to do so" it sounds like he is implying their $17 billion investment and 13,000 jobs are at the risk of not going through unless changes happen.

Search function broken, and can't find the ealier megathread on Disney/DeSantis.

Well done Desantis. I'm sure defeating the wokes was worth it. Lol. He going to get annihilated over this.
Would anyone complain if they dumped $1 billion of that money into the campaigns of anyone running against him and his State Legislature allies? How about political attack ads smearing him, featuring Mickey and Donald, if he tries to run for President next year? <mma4>

I think this is their Imagineering team that designs parks and rides. This is their engineers, project managers, etc. I've met them personally in their SoCal office and they are assholes. I won't do business with them or comment further for fear of lawsuits.

I will say, their animation teams are amazing people.

Exactly what central Florida needs more shit with Disney in the name.

The Manlet Meatball just lost the mayor of Jacksonville race. The dude he supported got his shit pushed in. Home insurance is doubling to tripling for residents because Meatball passed a bill hooking up Insurance Companies. Will give Meatball credit if you donate money to him, he will hook your ass up or put you on a taxpayer paid board

I don't see how picking a fight with Disney helps his chances in the 2024 election. If anything, it hurts his chances. Unless something crazy happens, Trump wins the Republican nomination.

Attendance is up from last year but don’t want facts to get in the way of your feelings.

Why the hostile response? And what do my "feelings" have to do with this? I was simply repeating what I've heard said about Disneyland now. That it's overpriced, overcrowded, too rigid and this has resulted in the magic disappearing.

All Disney has to do is run ads that say Florida lost 17 billion dollar investment over campaign politics. This will be a rim job to Desantis future.

Meatballs wants to be president and dumb shit like feuding with Disney is the only way to win over the Republican base. Too bad for him personality transplants are not yet available! Seeing Trump shit all over him makes me very happy.
It's the same problem Trump has. Ingratiating himself to rally support from his base leads to alienating as many people if not more.

You mean investment? Yes that's what every location would like. If Disney could pack up their whole park and move it to Georgia Ron would probably not be white knighting against them for having a different ideology.

Disneyland is in California. If it's overcrowded that would lead me to believe business is going well for them and what you've heard is just anecdotal evidence.
