UFC 290: Alexander Volkanovski vs. Yair Rodriguez, July 8

These days I'm kind of jaded by UFC betting but will try and find decent underdog plays here and there. I just know the majority of these favorites aren't going to win. UFC events where all favorites win are rather rare.

I wouldn't consider Moreno a huge favorite, but he's too big a favorite to have lost twice already to the same guy. While I understand the argument that Pantoja's never fought in a 5 round fight, Moreno was outclassed in a 3 round affair thoroughly by him. This 5 round fight could be won in 3 of the first 5 rounds and Pantoja has to do nothing from that point on but survive until the end to win on points. The 5 rounds argument in a moot point in my eyes.

But anyways, I wasn't blown away by Saaiman either. He strikes me as the type of guy who's winning a fight all the way up until the point at which he isn't. He seemed to be pretty hittable too, so who knows. Mitchell getting sparked by KKF doesn't mean much seeing as though we know where KKF is these days. Saaiman isn't that (that we know of yet). Maybe I'll take a flyer on Mitchell?

I just feel like I'd rather lose money doing that on Yair, knowing what I'm going to get.

If you think majority of the favorites won't win just bet everyunderdog and u will for sure profit

Alot of talk about Pantoja's ML but what about his +5.5 it is only -125?

This card is not as good as hyped … should be fun though and better then doing any family plans LOL

we’ll see what upset hits

Praying to the just bleed god's for quite a few ITD lines. Other than that, I like Pantoja and would be literally shocked if Whittaker loses. I'm also thinking Lawler has a much better chance to beat Nico than odds dictate.

Amazing value! As far as I know, Pantoja was never finished in his career and should be able to win a few rounds. But then again.. he never went past the 3rd round. Still pretty good value.

I'm ashamed to admit I haven't seen the Moreno Figgy 4 fight until now and realized it was stopped because of the eye?

Would you consider that flukey (not that Moreno won but that he finished him by TKO).

There's a chance Pantoja may get tired after the 3rd round but what are the chances Moreno actually finish him rather than win a decision?

Anyone looking for an angle on the Taira/Chairez fight--BOL has Taira sig strikes under 34.5 (juiced a little at -125).

He's obviously HEAVILY favored to find a sub within 2 rounds. He will quite obviously relentlessly grapple until he gets it. If we think it very likely he finishes within a couple rounds this should absolutely hit. They tend to not call ground strikes "significant" unless they are really massive gnp shots. This fight will likely be Chairez trying to avoid being strangled for as long as it lasts.

Given the juice on Taira sub...this play makes way more sense imo. Plus on the fluke chance Chaivez lands a bomb and KO's Taira before it hits the mat this also cashes.

I've been thinking about that for the past hour or two.
Pantoja gassing in the 4th or 5th and Moreno getting the KO/TKO.
I feel the need to bet Moreno by KO/TKO, but keep hesitating.
Need to find out if other people share the same thoughts.

I told ya never trust Nico Price and we had here confident people say that no way Nico loses to Lawler.

I'm on Hooker moneyline and rd 3/decision double when line is out. Theyre taking their sweet ass time with this.

Better donate to a dog shelter because blonde Hooker aint winning any more UFC fights.

You sure babyboi?

Chute Boxe beach blond Hooker FTW

Hooker found the DA Bronx secret. The more blond the hair is the better your shot at winning becomes.

Its that whole camp not just Charles. They all do that blond shit lol.

Brenner just murked Guram.
