The way Strickland won…

If Sean would have finished that knockdown, people would call it a fluke. The fact that he outstruck and walked Izzy down for 5 rounds AND got a knockdown is what sealed the deal. He outclassed him. No rematch needed. We know how that fight goes.

Fucking crazy. I kindaaa had a feeling that Izzy might have some issues consistently finding openings on Sean, but never would have thought that Strickland was gonna put on a clinic like that

I was wondering if Izzy was gonna try and take him down after having his standup game completely nullified by Sean approach and shoulder D

He was parrying and blocking the shit out of Izzy's straight punches. It was insane and I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone hand fight so well using that style.

Izzy nearly landed his looping overhand a couple times, maybe glanced him once with it. Other than that Izzy's only weapon was the leg kicks but Sean was doing a good job smothering him with constant checks while he moved forward.

He just negated all of Izzy's weapons with his defense. Some masterclass stuff.

I'm glad Izzy lost... he is way too cocky.

He fought scared and Strickland fought relaxed.

Congrats to Sean on the W... DDP coming for that belt soon.

Was amazing. He literally outclassed Izzy at his own game. Not a fluke win a real bad ass win. Completely proved me wrong. Great performance!
yup just completely outclassed him, wasnt a lucky ko shot. Outpressured izzy blocked and dodged almost every kick. Wasn't expecting this at all. Training with Alex was worth it seems

Izzy relies on people getting over aggressive. When Sean was defensively sound and moving forward the whole time Izzy was lost. Sean picked his shots incredibly well
His DEFENSE was amazing.

Izzy landed ELEVEN PERCENT on head strikes.

That might be the lowest connection percentage I've ever seen in 35 years of watching boxing and MMA.

A jab and a slow 1-2 is all it took to beat the champ. Man, oh man - MMA has a looooooong way to go.

Pretty pathetic performance by Izzy. He looked so helpless out there. He had no answers for anything. How are ya gonna get walked down by a guy throwing a 1-2 combo for the entire fight when you are a high level kick boxer

I was yelling that Sean needed to throw calf kicks, but he didn't even need it. Outclassed him in every round but the 2nd
