Jalin Turner has agreed to make the save for the UFC on ESPN 52 co-main event next month, as he will replace the injured Dan Hooker against Bobby Green.

After Hooker (23-12 MMA, 13-8 UFC) re-injured his arm in preparation for the Dec. 2 bout at Moody Center in Austin, Texas, the promotion needed a replacement to face Green (31-14-1 MMA, 12-9-1 UFC).

Turner (13-7 MMA, 6-4 UFC) stepped up for the assignment, and will clash with Green in a three-round lightweight contest.

UFC CEO Dana White announced the switch Thursday on his Instagram account.

Is it a catchweight fight or 155 ?
If it's the latter it's gonna be hard for Turner, he missed weight in his last fight against Hooker and it showed...

EDIT : my bad, it's at 155

Can Jailin make the weight without a full camp? Smart fight for him to take though.

Idk why but I kinda prefer this fight compared to Hooker/Green.
It being short notice favors Bobby big time tho, especially considering this is at LW too.

That's a big cut on short notice, and last time Turner had trouble making weight it looked like it impacted his cardio.
Luckily this got changed to a three rounder so that sorta balances it and will offer up more action packed bout.

Great replacement!

Great replacement. I kinda think Turner lands something nasty and KOs him.

Wow I'm surprised. This card was so stacked already. Any fight on the main card is better than the main event for the following weeks card lol

Moicano is probably salty that he had to fight 5 rounds when he stepped in last minute vs RDA but here they nerfed this fight down from 5 rounds to 3 lol. <Lmaoo>

Turner missed weight in his last fight vs Dan Hooker, how the hell is he gonna make weight on just over a week's notice. <Lmaoo>
