I see none of this in Asian gaming studios.

I don't wish them any specific ill will, but for sure they sound like they've got a lot of work to do to operate at a normal and acceptable level.

The point of my original post was simply to explain that 50 million is pennies to this entity, so if people thought this ruling would shift anything of substance in their culture theyre likely not thinking clearly. If you read the article, they take no acceptance of responsibility.

There's a long history of naming video game characters after the folks who worked on the game, or even using them for character models.
