Getting to shore should be easy though. Just swim, don’t kill yourself trying to get to shore. I had to do a swim qualification that was 100 meters and back down a river in the Charleston area. The river was moving fast enough that I probably actually swam 300-400 meters on the way back. At one point I was barely moving. Reminded me of this video.

Ha!! Both right. I didn't think that was a boat. Looked like a dock to me.



My bad... thought it was a dock on river. I've seen those on the big rivers in the south before, but never with a current moving that fast. I did think that was weird and very dangerous. Like those ice diving videos when people jump in and don't come out because the current carries them away from the hole in the ice.

Those are fucking creepy
