Crime Every single student at LeBron James' school has failed

I've said the same shit from post #1. I assumed that everyone knew what I was talking about since it was a huge story. You apparently didn't or are just playing dumb to keep your silly little argument going. All I did is add more information about it and you spazzed out about it.

The point is that the NBA and Lebron were all in on social justice and then went absolutely dead silent when asked about China.

It's what happened so go upstairs and cry about it in your mother's arms if that bothers you. I'm done talking to an autistic basement dwelling child. You're a weirdo. Go away now.

Are you handicapped by any chance? This is getting tiresome.

Why do you think lebron/nba needs to talk about China if they are questioned by the media just because they talk about social issues in their own country? What is the relation here??

I’ve given you the same response and you still can’t give me a proper answer.

It’s like you are not even reading my response.

The relation is they pretend to be humanitarians when being a humanitarian doesn't affect their bottom line but they go completely silent when being a humanitarian hits their wallet. It's no mystery why the entire NBA went dead silent on the China issue after seeing what happened after Daryl Morey's comments.

These guys are paid to answer questions from the media. It's literally part of their job. Obviously they aren't forced to answer anything directly but the entire league went dead fucking silent on the issue. You pretending as if it had nothing to do with money just goes to show how biased you are.

So you finally admit to something that you denied saying in a previous post?

you're a clown lol

There are also plenty of NBA athletes who don't answer questions. They pick and choose what to answer all the time.

Yes just a mere coincidence that the entire NBA went silent on China. Probably because they just didn't have a keen interest in answering the question. Nothing to do with money at all...

The mental gymnastics you took here were impressive. I think I repeated the same post like 5 times and you had a completely different retarded response to each one as if something new was being said.

Take care now.

Glad I read this before I commented. That dude fucked with the wrong people. Although they took it too far the idiots provoked them into this. I was expecting someone innocently being attacked without provocation. Sentence is still light imo.

The thing with Lebron is he has some pretty shitty “woke” takes and is often a hypocrite. He comes across more like a white progressive puppet and someone who is no longer in touch with the people he’s an activist for (like white leftist who just parrot stuff and have no connection with the cause or contact with the people they’re staunchly defending). I have nothing against the dude but he’s just like anyone on either side of the political spectrum who are sheep in these ways.

His argument is like “the reason black students do worse than white students even when the education is 1:1 is racism and privilege”. That’s the default defense and stance with a lot of things that have deeper issues needing to be addressed (like gun violence in black communities). Then when someone like Lebron puts them into a “privileged scenario” results are still shit. Obviously the deeper causes and others also being accountable for this won’t happen so the same thing will be blamed in an endless loop. At least he’s trying to help in ways he can and that’s commendable. But his views likely blind him like anyone else plus the lack of objectivity often makes you overlook other issues simply because you’re on a “side” and don’t always like the truth.

I feel bad for those kids and all kids in that predicament. Once they get behind, it's really hard to recover. Lebron had good intentions. He tried to do something special, but now he knows that a different approach is needed.

It's hard to cure cultural diseases.

Has it ever occured to you that some people like China and don't condemm it because they think its success is a positive thing? What really matters is condemming America and capitalism.

Lovely place using folks face and dna to publicly shame them for jay walking.

Teaching is hard. And unless it's done with absolute accountability in the early years, kids can't catch up if they are allowed to fall behind. By age 5, kids are either on track or not. Intervening at 7, 8, etc. is too late. Which is really more the problem than people want to acknowledge.

I have an anecdote that I always think is a good window into this. I had a 3rd grade teacher (so 8 year old students) tell me that she had a student in her school who couldn't read or do math at grade level. 8 years old. You'd think that's not too young to do something so I asked her what the plan was for this kid. Her response was "Nothing, I don't have the time or the resources to get him up to speed and still teach the other kids." She was going to do what she could and then send him to the next grade.

That always sticks with me. It wasn't that she didn't care, it's that she couldn't do anything about one kid. An 8 year old kid was effectively fucked. If kids can't be put back on track by 3rd grade, there's no hope for them by middle school.

Early intervention is so important and "early" these days means 3 y.o., not 6 y.o.

It actually does. More money means less time working, means more time raising kids in a better environment
It also means higher quality daycare. It means KUMON and Mathnasium to supplement. It means trips to museums, aquariums, etc.

People who say money doesn't mean better parenting either don't have kids or weren't good parents. Even the best low income parents know that they could do more if they had more resources.

the left: "trump voters are poor uneducated trailer trash!"

also the left: "trumpers have white privilege!"
Not sure what white privilege has to do with education/intelligence specifically, it's more about accountability and opportunity. Obviously there is a lot of people who grossly overdo it with the pandering/calling things racist (ie: "the Oscar's are racist if enough black actors don't get nominated!") But to say that people of color don't experience things that they wouldn't if they were white is idiotic.

Plenty of stupid and/or poor people don't understand the ways they may have it good nor the breaks they get over people of color in a similar economic situation.

It's also hilarious that the right deifies a guy who literally ran a scam university and shit on a guy who donated money to try and help underprivileged kids, AND blame him like he was personally teaching the classes.

As usual you're bias is showing. It's how much of those resources you choose to spend on your kids that makes the difference. And the most valuable resource isn't money, it's time.

You can give someone $2k a month, but if they choose to spend it on scratch offs and liquor then it doesn't help the kids.

You can try to force them to spend it on the kids by making it food stamps and all you're doing is creating a black market where people sell their food stamps at a discount for cash.
