I just watched a news clip about the heavy rains in California especially those in Sol. Cal. I hope everything things O.K. for you guys. Not sure how long it will last.

It is supposed to let up a bit in my area tomorrow. Keeping dry so far, fellow sherbro!

it's not pouring, but it's steady and nonstop. in these neck of the woods, any rain at all is considered a "state of emergency storm".

I hear there are heavy rains in Gaza also. First world problems.

Wish I had a flood here

I’m in NorCal. We get about two of these crazy, windy rain storms two or three times a year. But from what I understand, the shit going down in SoCal is nearly a hurricane. They’re not used to rain much less this.

I'm in NorCal and the only crazy thing was the high winds 2 days ago. Couple fence posts are broken, but luckily no lost of power. Many in our city are still out of power since Sunday. PG&E sent an alert to some that it won't come back until tomorrow at 10pm.

I’m getting fucking drenched at work. I hate working in the rain. So many car crashes
Yup, Californians are generally fucking idiots when it comes to driving in any kind of weather. So many of them just plow forward at the same speed they would drive in the summer.

I lost power for 6 hours <6>

It's not like the storms I've experience in New Hampshire or Minnesota but the wind was bad.

Californians can not drive for shit once the epic unfathomable disaster of water falling from the sky occurs.

When I was stationed out there my daughter had to take a driving safety class before she could get a parking permit for high school...she said she was laughing out loud at all the "driving in rain" paranoia... she drove on her learners permit and got her licence in Michigan driving on snow and ice.

Ive been in NYC all week and flying back tonight. Sounds like everything back on my ranch in SoCal is ok. I had just trimmed a bunch of trees before i left too.

We always need the rain, too bad the idiots in charge let most of it wash away . . .

Check out the live camera of Jackie and Shadow the bald eagle pair at Big Bear Lake currently cover in a snow igloo while incubating 3 eggs!
