Media Jake Paul offered Strickland $1 mil to spar and Strickland turned it down

Would he do it for free?...No money being exchanged, no different than the skinny youtuber getting beat as far as we know.

Why would he do it for free?

There is no real money to be made by foooling around with internet trolls or marginally popular knobs like Sneako...there is a lot of money to be made by doing something with Jake Paul.

If Jake really just wants to spar, he could show up with out cameras and I'm guessing Sean would be down...but it's not really about that, is it...

Edit: There is also a difference between someone talking shit who isn't a boxer/fighter and getting the opportunity to spar...there really isn't any reason or recourse to 'compete' against them...there is no money to be made and no one will sanction any sort of a match. Jake is a pro boxer now...there clearly *is* a mechanism whereby he and Sean could actually compete in boxing or MMA, and get paid a lot to do so.

Acting like this woudl be the same thing as a round or two of sparring Sneako or some internet troll is disingenuous, at best.

Guess if prostitution is illegal somehere, you can still just fuck someone and then just give them money afterwards as a gift... Nah.. Fam...

Of course, you can but nobody can find out. Does anybody trust Jake to not kiss and tell?

Paul Jake would do life-changing damage to Sean even in a spar, so the big payday is still clearly not worthwhile.

Sparring almost always is recorded...think harder, if he wouldnt do it for free cause there is no money to be made, but when there is then he cant...well, then he shouldnt be risking UFC's "investment" in sparring skinny youtubers for free, and he cant get paid either.

You aren't going to outsmart a team of legal lawyers whose been around the block a couple of times just because you tell them it's a sparring session and no money will be transferred.

So its okay if he has multiple full on fights in the gym, as long as he isnt getting paid for it?

Dont see how it hurts the UFC in the slightest AS LONG as they dont film/profit from it
The Paul bros film and put everything on social media, this would be no different.

They didn’t monetize the footage.
How would be any different than any of the Mac Life or any other youtube channel uploading content? Are UFC fighters allowed to monetize their channels? Jon Jones appeared on camera on PFL's PPV, dont be fooled with the monetize excuse, even if they dont monetize it imagine how would Jake Paul's stock would rise in him dropping or "beating" Strickland in sparring.

Just say it's a practice sparring session with not money involved?

If he takes one million to fight a youtuber, presumably filmed and then released and monetized on the youtuber's channel, it is the equivalent of fighting for money in another promotion from a business standpoint.
You guys sound very pro UFC while not even noticing it, so, a fighter cant record himself and upload to youtube if his channel is monetized? Thats a new one, cause fighters get paid to sparr all the time.

All this talk, why not just agree to show up at Stricklands gym in Vegas and get that work in?

Jake’s not a fighter, he’s just in the business of grabbing attention.

Yet another UFC fighter sucking a YouTuber

I don't think you understand. Jake is going to pay the one million and try to make viewing the sparring session behind a paywall. That is a completely different deal than monetization of a channel.

Strickland can spar anyone he wants. The UFC can't do anything to him. He is just not allowed to try to make money from it.

Because Sean would be profiting 1 million dollars. Ever heard of contracts?
Dumb and wrong. Fighters are paid for being sparring partners all the time. It's a standard part of the business

It would be the 'broadcast' of it that could get trouble, if anything

Thats monetizing it what you say its a different thing, we just need someone to try it then, make sparring sessions available on PPV and see what happens with the UFC, you guys are borderline shilling for the UFC at this point with all the excuses on why Strickland cant do this, when the real reason is he wont look great at it and its better for him to blame the UFC on why he cant do it but he was able to record himself putting a beating on a skinny youtuber for free, what if this guy lands a miracle punch and breaks his nose? for fucking 0 dollars, will the UFC be OK with that? Not a training injury, a being dumb injury...

As much as I dislike Strickland for being a you can dish it out but can’t take it douchebag, people would have to be incredibly obtuse to believe for a second he would be scared to fight the like of Jake, sparring or not.
Strickland gets in a ring and fights Israel and Alex (the latter of which he invited to spar with him after the fight) and yet he's a fake alpha who's scared of Jake......

Fraud Alert. Jake Paul is the pussy of all pussies. He needs to leave the fighting world before he annoys everyone. Real fight fans don’t care about posers.
