people hyping joshua too much .. his last two fights were trash .. and he lost the two out of three before that .. he was getting tagged by helenius from what I heard and wallin was a punching bag .. wasn't threatening at all .. he was like a main dish served on a platter for joshua .. he's facing a raging hungry bull for this fight who will not simply be a punching bag with no resistance .. good luck
Joshua looked sharp in his last fight. Wallin was turned into a punching bag but he's no easier to hit than Ngannou. The difference is that Ngannou obviously has power. AJ will have to be mindful in how he approaches him. I don't think AJ is being hyped up per se. He's the favorite.

also the smack talk with fury .. meh .. fury was a spectator with no mic so they can't really go back and forth .. and this event wasn't about fury .. ngannou took the chance to take a cheapshot at him knowing he can't really talk back .. no idea why .. he's there for joshua

'Cheapshot knowing he can't really talk back' - Fury is literally chirping at him right there. It's Fury's fault for getting drawn into it when only one had a mic. If he wants to serve up the opportunity to Francis on a platter, Francis can talk all the shit he likes.

This is a very sad take.

Wallin covered up and didn't fire back... Francis is a counter puncher, so AJ would be a fool to fight him in the same way.

If he's smart, AJ will hang back, catch Franics reaching and then knock francis out cold.

AJ won't fight Ngannou the same way. Wallin is a southpaw with no pop and Ngannou couldn't be more different. I could see AJ putting the jab on him early and looking to sit back and potshot. Once Ngannou starts getting frustrated he'll probably try and walk him into a big shot. He showed some frustration against Fury and started swinging wildly at one point in their fight. Surely Team AJ noticed that.

Francis always has a great chance if je can land… and he’s gonna land. He landed against a much harder to hit and harder to rock fighter.

Should be fun!
Whose the harder to rock fighter hope it's not fury

Maybe I need to rewatch the fight, I don't mean his punch speed but ability to close distance with footwork. To me it didn't look like he had an effective offense in between his power counters. Boxing the highest level is absolutely leagues above where MMA striking is, let alone the HW level for sure, he can't do what he used to and bullrush. However wouldn't it be in Ngannou's favor if he can make it punch for punch and create times to trade? The first 3 rounds are probably the biggest danger where Joshua will be more hesitant to engage and commit the least to his punches. Either way, I assume Joshua turns it into a boxing match for most of the fight once Ngannou's gas is more than halfway done.
Wym let alone at hw? The skill gap is significantly closer at hw

I think if it's full intensity boxing, AJ probably gets the KO.

I guess that's what I'm not sure about - will it be a proper, full intensity fight? I somewhat doubt it.

This is a proper fight, not an exhibition match. Francis is now a ranked fighter after his narrow loss to fury.

I meant comparing quality of striking in other weight classes is better than it is at HW in mma. Typically higher level. I suppose you're right and that goes for boxing too. Which makes them closer.

him saying that the hardest hes ever been hit was by Tyson Fury...thats about to change in just over 24 hours

i expect Joshua to stop him around 4/5 rounds in, probably with him sat on his stool with a broken face

If he really is being honest then he’s in trouble tomorrow.

Ngannou will knock him out with a left hook, the same way whyte hurt him with that left hook, i think thats ngannous best punch

I feel that the danger of Joshua getting caught is real but I think this fight will be a lot slower paced than people expect. Joshua will look to control him with the jab and sneak the right hand behind it here and there. Joshua won't step it up until he sees Ngannou hurt or fading. The 1-2 worked pretty well for Fury, he just wasn't doing very good in the clinches.

i kinda agree but i think Ngannou has a iron chin (i could be wrong) if joshua does step in too early because he things hes hurt or tired he can and i think will get caught with power

Yes, Ngannou impressed me in the fight with Fury and yes, I think he has a puncher's chance with Joshua, but people are seemingly forgetting how gassed he was in the Fury fight. I thought he'd keel over just from sucking wind and its the reason he did nothing after the knock down and lost the fight. Joshua has gone 12 rds with top guys on multiple occasions -- so as long as he doesn't get caught with a random kill shot, he should win handily.

people hyping joshua too much ..
I have to say, I really think people are overlooking how poor a version of Fury we saw vs Ngannou. I know what Joshua is. A very good fighter who is a little weak mentally. I'd pick almost any version of Joshua I've seen against the Fury Ngannou fought.

I don't remember him being gassed.. the 8th round was his best and most active round. What was apparent is that he seemed scared to gas, which is probably smart.

I doubt it will be much of an issue against AJ, as there's little chance that it goes past 3-4 rounds, UNLESS AJ plays it super safe and doesn't push the pace. If AJ fights like I expect him to, it'll be over quickly.

I'm actually anxious and excited for this fight. Going to be hard to work tomorrow.

I expect AJ to go full wlad, jab, straight, hold. I can't see him risking much else. Very, very winnable fight for AJ to be honest, Francis has the proverbial punchers chance, but we'll see.

Does amyone have experience with POV.com? I want to get this one tomorrow but don’t want to pay for a month of DAZN on top of the PPV.
