Almeida fan boys swore he had elite level striking and he was just "hiding it" mean while his boxing didn't look anywhere near as sharp as they claimed it was. It wasn't about his striking or chin. It was bad fight IQ. Should have let go of the TD, Blaydes was obviously in a good spot there being able to land those shots.

His chin is fine, he’s eaten big shots in that same position from guys like Black Beast and been fine. He was comfortable eating the first few clean shots from Blaydes until about 4 of the last part of the flurry landed to the back of the head.


He got too comfortable and the ref didn’t do his job.
