The fighters got to protect himself at all times as they say not the ref. He should only step in when the fighter stops protecting himself.

Semantics. We can mince words. The ref needs to protect fighters who are hurt. The question is how hurt was he and was the unanswered damage/offense enough to provoke a stoppage.

What can I say I like a punch on and think we should let the fight go on until there is no question left. Maybe that is dangerous to fighters health but a cage fight is never a great idea if you want to live your longest most fruitful life
