This Mossberg
I was thinking of going with the Springfield Armory
Also on a side note I think it's dumb that Leo still carry shotguns as there primary long guns. They can't defeat bodyarmor and they don't carry many rounds. I think it should be some AR variant or better yet a mp5 variant that all leo's have in patrol cars.
Leaning toward a springfield xd 9mm. Thoughts?

A lot of police work in densely populated areas. Slinging an AR15 around shooting through cars 9 blocks away when they miss is NOT a good thing. Thats why shotguns are STILL popular. Most police shootings take place well within its lethal range, and you dont have to worry about collateral damage from over penetration as much.Pistol is to fight to your shotgun, shotgun is to fight to your AR, which is usually in the trunk.
While they due have high capacity makes you may get more FTf and fte. Like I was saying before the only manufacturers you should look at for handguns is Hk glock and maybe smith and season.
If this guy already works for a department why does he have to buy the weapons? Does he have to purchase his gunbelt too?
I never said I worked for a department. Im a detention officer. We do alot of transporting of inmates. You need to be cleet certified to do that. This is a good way for me to advance my career tho condsidering most people who do work at my jail end up a LEO.
And yes.....I do need a freaking gun belt to. lol
I feel good now, didnt know I got that good of a deal. Figured it was about right...

Thats why subguns should be a better option then ShotGuns. AR's are great but they can penetrate more and have a longer range which may or maynot be a good thing.
