So this kid Kang was supposed to be legit? (Caceres vs Kang Decision Merged Threads)

that was a fukin robbery. they seriously have to do something about shitty judges. its destroying the sport.

So when judges only score takedowns they suck, but when they judge overall damage and work rate they suck. No one is ever going to be happy.

I was rooting for kang too man, just accept it...

Caceres won, typical of Sherdog to make a big deal out of nothing.

Either 29-28 Kang or if you're liberal a draw with the judging criteria. Pride rules I would have gave it to Leeroy.

He won the third round. His third round was much better than Kangs first 2 rounds but that doesn't mean he won with the scoring criteria.

He clearly got robbed, if you don't think he won that fight then you're obviously a biased Caceres fan.

yeah it was a close fight, but by UFC judging rules, normally it should have gone to Kang.
It's kinda funny how this judging thing always seems to favor, American fighters.
I wonder who's judging this event.

Well there was definitely no LnP in that fight but it is good to see the judges award the more active fighter

Anyone who says this is a robbery wasn't watching the fight and/or is on the Kang hype train. Caceres won a close fight.

Care to explain why? 1st and 2nd Kang dictated where the fight was going , had octagon control, won striking and grappling. By the judging criteria the offense is weighed heavier than defense.

Round three was all Alex.

its called kang dominated the first two rounds. 2/3 wins the fight do the math. maybe you should watch the fight again. and you make it seem like caceres did so much damage. he barely hit kang and only tried a submission when kang was gassed the fuk out.

People are throwing around the term robbery like it's nothing. You do understand the definition of a robbery right? A fight like KZ vs Garcia or Mizugaki vs Cariaso etc. is a robbery. This was just a very close fight. No robbery at all.

No...Kang won the first two rounds. The judge probably gave Alex the 2nd round based on his 3rd round performance.

Thats not how judging works. They score each round as it happens. They dont go back and retroactively change the way they scored a round based on another round. Round one is over, they write down who won it, round two, same thing, third, etc.

He was hit with at least 2 illegal shots. He did great in the first two rounds regardless. I am now a fan. Give him some time and training and I think he will be a great BW.

Too much octagon experience for Leeroy led him to win. He was relax the whole time. Good to see his hardwork pay off. I'm really sad that the decision didn't way for Kang, but there are times he almost got finished in the 3rd and that didn't look good in the judges eyes. It is what it is hope to see him get another fight.

Only way he could even draw is if they scored Caceres a 10/8 in round three. It was more of a fact that Kang was gassing like you said than Caceres doing massive damage. So yeah, Kang won.

I gave Alex round 2. He did more damage and while Kang got the TD's he didn't do much with them, Caceres threatened off his back, swept, etc.

Judges score just TD's and people bitch, the judges here scored off the shit people complain they ignore unfairly in other fights, and people bitch. Its a lose lose situation.

Look im not saying it wasn't a close fight, because clearly it was razor thin whoever won, and so to call it a robbery is a gross exaggeration.

Ring Fukuda was a robbery. This was not.

People not (edited) are giving Caceres enough credit for his reversals and the strikes off of it.

Furious that my local Comcast doesn't provide this channel in any form.

3rd round dictates winner

Happens a lot
