^^^ I love you, no homo.
So boxing bets I have 1u on Martin over Glazkov +140. Long story short, Glazkov is the more seasoned fighter, been in there with the better guys by far, I can see him controlling the fight with his jab, that being said it's gonna be tough against a bigger guy, the fact that Martin's a southpaw could very well pose problems for establishing the jab as well. Martin has basically just fought a bunch of cans, but from what I've seen from him he's a good athlete with a lot of power. His left hand is pretty devastating, he doesn't throw it wide too often, does a good job of throwing it straight and timing it so it lands in between his opponents shots.
He's untested but I definitely believe he's a good enough fighter to give Glazkov problems, using his reach/height advantage and his left hand to keep Glazkov hesitant throughout. Also, even against low level comp you can tell that Martin has a lot of power and it's very possible that he just snipes Glazkov with one shot and it's all over. I guess long story not so short, lol.
also kind of feel square for this one but took Wilder wins in rds 1-6 at +104 for 2u. Szpilka has a lot of heart, he's young and hungry, but bottom line he was ko'd by Bryant Jennings who doesn't possess half the power as Wilder, and he was dropped 3 times in 2 fights against a journeyman in Mike Mollo. Szpilka has skills but I think Deontay's power is too much for him and Deontay WILL land early and that means I don't like Szpilka's chances to survive if he's getting hit with that right hand on a consistence basis, which I think he will.
Wilder gets him out of there before the halfway point, imo. Szpilka might have a few moments but Deontay's a tough style match up for him, imo, and I think Wilder's just on another level at this point in his career. His power will be too much for Szpilka's chin, imo. Deontay via the Alabama Jam rd3 is my prediction.
