Terrible fight but awesome knockout. I liked Goddard warning them.
I was just happy it ended I couldn't watch much longer.

Dude, I'm ok with that but betting 30u or all your br on Holm IS INSANE. period
Haha Harris's begging didn't still didn't land him the $50k
<cheer>
As for RDA though, he looked strong as ever and I believe that he can make a legitimate run just like he did at lightweight.
I don't understand why people were so annoyed with Harris. I watched that fight today and it didn't seem THAT out of line, we've definitely seen way worse groveling.
Wanted to give separate thoughts on Justin Scoggins:
So at this point a kid with this much talent shouldn't be losing like in similar fashion this on a consistent basis. One time, two times maybe, but three times is a trend. And it happens later in the fight after early success has proved that he is the better fiber. This to me has mental psychology written all over it. I remember when Chael used to do the exact same thing. He would be up 2/3 rounds or more on his opponent and then he would mentally check out and give up a submission on a SilverPlatter. This was the case when a first fought Paulo Filho, Forrest Griffin (IIRC), Babalu and then of course the most infamous Anderson Silva fifth round after winning 4 3/4 rounds. I even think it came back to play some part in his latest fight with Tito Ortiz given that he had been out so long the old ghosts came back to haunt him once more.
Chael actually said that he went to a sports psychologist because he knew he was finding a way out subconsciously. I believe this is to be true with Justin Scoggins ATP.
THE FIX? Just 25. years old, he shoucompletely step away from the sport for at least nine months and lock himself in a BJJ training facility with someone like like a Jiu Jitsu phenom in the mold of a JT Torres or João Miyao who are similarly sized choke specialists as opposed to choke artists. BJJ players who can just put him through the paces on the mat to the point where he will be so self-conscious about leaving his neck exposed that he wears turtlenecks year round.
He can come back and hopefully having sewed up all of his defensive liabilities before he loses again and the next thing you know he's hanging out with Dennis Kang on a beach somewhere drinking rum from a coconut trading "what if" stories.
Wasn't specifically aimed at you. I didn't watch the fight live, but I read some of the comments beforehand and I expected him to be literally on his knees begging for the bonus or something. That being said, Holly getting the bonus is like Mir getting the bonus against Crocop.... yeah, we got a finish, but the rest of the fight was bad bad bad.I was just reinforcing the idea that asking for it won't get it for ya.. I absolutely thought he should've had it over holly
He literally has some of the worst fight IQ of all UFC fighters. He could have kept that fight standing and beat him up throughout. If he must go for takedowns, he could have ground and pound and then stood back up. I have no idea why he chooses to grapple so much.
