I think with everything surrounding Khabibs father we might see Gaethje vs Conor. I dont see him waiting for Tony to heal up (apparently he doesnt need surgery) OR a big fight at 170 with Masvidal.

This is a valid point. Yes Poirier is a different fighter at 55 but so is Conor. Not sure who else he should match up against. Tony? I'd say Dan Hooker but I dont think that does it either. I think he's fighting Masvidal at 170 next though

As a fan of Conor he needs a top tier win in order to get the title shot. Gaethje would have been perfect but he chose Cowboy instead. Dustin would be the perfect fight to earn the next title shot.
