I had a civic I bought new and ran up to 185K miles only ever needing oil changes, tires and brakes. Replaced a spark plug once. Things are bulletproof.

Had this choice this year actually. Didn’t camp got a VRBO cabin in Olympic National Park but did a lot of hiking. Very happy with my choice.
