Built to Spill - Perfect From Now On

A fairly close competitor to 'In the aeroplane over the sea' for the best US indie album of the 90's imo.

Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West

Refused - The Shape of punk to come

Turns out this wasn't really the shape of punk to come, but I wish it had been, for what it's worth

Disco Inferno - DI go pop

Genre - Experimental/Post rock

One of the most creative albums of all time imo, truly unique.

City of Caterpillar - City of Caterpillar

I did not know I neeed a screamo/post rock album, but it turns out I totally do.

Hawkwind - In Search Of Space

Genre - Space rock

I could do without some of the spoken word bits on this, but otherwise this is one of the absolute best live albums ever imo. Lemmy's bass is just ridiculous.

Coil - The Ape of Naples

Genre - Creepy yet comforting electronic.

Yeah, this one is as good as everyone says it is.

Album on repeat today is Heart of everything, with Within Temptation from 2007.
Probably one of the best symphonic metal albums ever.

Not a bad track on the album.
Within Temptation is still decent enough band, but they will never get back to the "mother earth", "silent Force", "heart of everything" era

Listening to Siamese Dream again a lot lately
