Guys, DC made that comment as a guess. He wasn't asserting with confidence that it was ammonia packet.

I'm sure he was just basing that on a common thing used to jump start a person's body.

I've seen camera shots of NHL and NFL players using it. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal.

I could see an ice cube inside the nose, that cold sensation where you don't typically feel it, could wake her up some.

It's all plausible.

I'm not gonna look it up, but is there a rule against smelling salt?

Press on your philtrum really hard with your nail. It hurts and wakes you up. It stimulates the nervous system. It’s used in medicine to keep a person conscious.

Thanks man! Looked up that term and that must have been the basis for what he was trying to do. Although it doesn't look he was actually even doing that right as it seems that pressure point is located at that "dimple" above the top lip not in a nostril. Very weird situation all around.
