Depends on how people feel like interpreting the religious texts.

Most religious people are pick and choose, where they pick the things they want and ignore the things they dont want.

Problem is there are alot of fucked up things to pick from.

As an Army veteran, the daily clean-shaven regulations is probably on my Top #50 Biggest Bullshit aspects about the military, and that list is probably around #300, at least.

The justification for it is... (they say)... is you may need to put on a gas mask at any time but even if your facial hair has grown 24 hours it may not seal correctly around your face and neck.

Excuse me, but that may be 100% fine in a warzone in which the enemy has chemical weapons, but when we're in the USA or an at-peace duty station somewhere else in the world, there's absolutely no reason to be required to shave every goddamn day... other than the higher-ups saying "We had to shave everyday when we were your rank, now you have to shave everyday at your rank. Deal with it."

Its absolute cunts like them that made the Army unbearable.

I saw a couple things like that seems , like killing for the US army would still count as an unjust killing. At least for the time while this neckbeard was alive. But touche’ maybe it’s just murder I’d still consider killing because someone told you to but with no other justification would still be morally wrong, but hey I’m no Peter so I don’t know who they let in the pearly gates.

It's always awesome to see someone circumventing the military shave policy. This dude found a way to acquire the mythical no shave chit - a true golden ticket - and that is something I must respect. Godspeed, neckbeard soldier.

He's in the Guard so I'm not sure it was worth the effort. All that just to avoid shaving twice a month.
