Bellator 198 - Fedor vs Mir - Rosemont Illinois

Took a small stab at Sicilia itd +1050. Likely his path to victory is a ko. I don't see either guy initiating grappling and Sanchez can sometimes be content with standing in front of you trading points. Could be dangerous against a swang and bang guy like Sam. Still most likely outcome is a Sanchez dec but you never know.

Alright, lets talk some facts for people betting on this card

1. You are a degenerate gambler

2. You have a gambling addiciton and lack self control (need action)

3. Your bankroll broke
4. You have enough money to risk losing some of it without it being a problem

Gerald? Think he outstrikes him or is able to wrestle and not be submitted?
You mean Gerald Harris? Even on just a few days short notice and with Lovato towering over him?
I think branch is good enough to keep the fight standing and outstrike or grind lovato against the cage for 3 rounds.

Branch has fought MUCH better competition than Lovato has ever layed eyes on.

Either way this fight won’t be pretty.

Edit: Yes Harris. Not sure why I keep saying Branch. I’ve done that ever since he fought Dave Branch.

Lovato probably gets it done but +790 on Harris Dec had to be bet. If Harris wins it's likely wall n stall and dirty boxing. May be mix in a TD late in the round to seal it when there's not enough time for Lovato to work.

I also played Harris ML and Dec small as I think the lines are out of whack. Gerald being short notice and a seemingly tough style matchup don't help, but +360 and +7xx deserved small plays imo.

Was going to smash Lovato against Salter if the line was decent too.

The only thing I’m on is Fedor ML.

95ish to win 110ish. Every other line is juiced beyond juiced.

I don’t see how Harris has any chance at winning.

Even prime Harris would be an underdog vs Lovato and he hasn’t fought relevant competition in 5 years...a bet on Harris is just giving away money on wishful thinking

Look at what Lovato did to Honeycutt. What does Harris have for him that Honeycutt does not?

Mir back on the juice, easily warrants a 2u bet

But he's not fighting Lovato? And he fought Harris 8 years ago when Harris was much better and he was much worse.
You probably didn’t see my next post. I meant Harris, but have always confused his name with David Branch ever since they fought.

Regardless, I’m confident in GERALD HARRIS.

I can maybe see liking the odds, but confident in Gerald Harris coming off the couch and out of retirement to fight a BJJ black belt of Lovato's caliber who towers over him?

Recently quit Ignition Casino for ACR which is apparently under constant DDOS attacks. Apparently ACR has a lot of bots which will get wrecked guaranteed. Now that I got no action I wll be blowing money on this card with no research.

Does any one else think Mir jucing to Lesnar levels? Fair fight I'd pick Fedor, even now, but I dont think Mir is playing fair.

Also if you watch his fight vs Brian Green he easily won bc of position, but did almost no damage and gave up a few decent sub attempts.

And Green had lost his prior 5 fights against badddd competition. He is a major bum, likely weaker than any Lovato opponent.

I think people are too comfortable with Harris not being washed because of recent wins. But his competition has been awful, and he didn't finish either of his last two through 3 rounds.

Would anybody bet Josh Burkman is his current form vs Lovato at +350 odds? Because he is a year younger than Harris, and beat him in Harris's last real fight 5.5 years ago. The main difference is we have been subject to visual evidence of how old Burkman looks against real competition, and Harris oldness hasn't been fully exposed vs megaturds.

Fair points, although with Burkman it's also the fact he's been straight up starched a few times which deteriorates his chin more and more every fight. All of your other points are valid, but I'd argue if nothing else Harris is more durable due to simply not getting his head caved in as Burkman has over the last few years. I'd pass on Burkman for sure and some would be due to the deterioration of his speed, reflexes, etc. But it would also be due to the fact I'd be worried that even a glancing jab might KO him at this point.
