Bellator 222 MacDonald vs Gracie

Machida looks great against someone who sucks at striking and can't take him down.

He won a 50/50 decision against a very dangerous, skilled Thai striker in the prime of his career in his last fight, and demolished old Vitor (who can still strike) in his last UFC fight.

Machida's skills have declined, but he is still a decent fighter and fights exceptionally smart, maximizing what he has left.

R1: Rory (I think Gracie landed 3 good low kicks to the side of the knee, but nothing else, and didn't get close to getting a TD)

Not really worth scoring.

Gracie isn't doing anything, is easy to hit, and is slowing down.

R4 = Gracie

I give Gracie the first 3 minutes of the round, with Rory being on top during the last 2 minutes but not really doing much.

Enjoyed watching rory's defense. Guess his head is still in the game after all. Can't say no to 1 million dollars.

Up 61u after Rory capped off a 6-leg parlay for me. Would've been 74u if I didn't hedge like a puss...but now that I type it out I'm actually happy I did haha.

Bankroll changing night for me, obviously. Unit size getting increased after Moicano-KZ.

First time I've ever hit one of those monster parlays. Livin' that @TrueAscension lifestyle feels nice.

Poor Aaron Pico, glad I didn't touch that one tonight! Also happy that I switched from Caldwell to Horiguchi and got the benefit of the line movement as well in that champion vs champion bout. Horiguchi is so good even at a much smaller size. It was a frustrating fight to watch with Darrion just trying to wrestle and hold The Gooch down, but a nice payday. I didn't expect Chael's retirement tonight, but wish I went bigger on Machida/Sonnen under 2½ at + money. Rory's submission defense is so good, and I got such a great price early on, that made for almost a clean sweep for 12.22 units profit.

Won on Horiguchi and Danis u1.5, lost on Gracie. Up 2.1u...

I don't understand why they don't just feed Pico some cans. Even with chin issues he has all the tools to walk through a lot of guys. If they got a beef plant worker for Jake Hager then why can't they round up some guys at the local McDonalds for Pico?

Pico's been asking for good guys from the beginning. If someone should be blamed, it's his own management.

+1000u

Looking forward to bet the future champ Douglas Lima next time
