Brock vs Fedor in 2009

Fedor is too small Brother. Bigfoot had the athletic ability of a cow.. And he took Fedor down and blasted him. Brock also had more heart than people realize. He did not like getting hit, but did he tap out to strikes with Shane? Nope. Took the pounding and finished him in the next round.. Brock too big, too strong, too athletic for Fedor in 2009...

Fedor was too fast, had too much power with a gas tank and experience. Anyone in the top of the strikeforce hw div could have beaten brock. Guys like DC, ubereem, fedor, werdum, barnett, bigfoot would have been too much for brock.

Cain can stop Brock's TD's. And Brock still got 1 TD..
Fedor can't.. Especially by 2009.. Watch the Big Foot Fight..

The thing about bigfoot fight is that bigfoot was actually competent standing up. That makes a huge difference. Werdum took down cain too. Doesnt mean his takedowns are better than cains wrestling, just that with the threat of stand up, it changes things up.

Fedor had no interest in fighting in the UFC. His management wanted ridiculous things to make the deal happen.

Randy tried to get out of his UFC contract to fight Fedor outside the UFC because he knew damn well Fedor would never, ever fight in the UFC.

Dana to his credit did everything he could to get Fedor in the UFC and lets face it, Fedor is well known to the hardcore fans but the casuals have very little clue of who he was. The UFC would have changed that.

All dana had to do was sign a one fight deal and copromote it with M1. The UFC was afraid that fedor was going to starch their boy and walk away into the sunset. Dana told weird stories about flying to secret islands and disrespected fedor and his team the entire time.

It wasn't just co-promotion (and frankly who would want to be affiliated with a shady russian company?). They wanted the UFC to fund and build a stadium in russia and commit to X number of events there per year.

You are right Fedor probably would have beaten whomever was champ when he signed and a 1 fight deal would not have been to the UFC's benefit.

Looking back at now and considering where the UFC and M1 are respectively in terms of global MMA, the UFC clearly made the right choice in the end. The UFC did not need Fedor.

He cut 115 lbs. Holy shit if true
