Can Any Fighter Challenge for the BMF Title?

I don't think there's any official criteria but all the guys who've fought for it, have all been known for being in a lot of "wars". It's not about who is the most dominant or best, but guys who have big name value while also being known as disciples of the Just Bleed God. That's why I think Ilia shouldn't fight for it, to his credit, he's been so dominant that he's never been in a real "war" fight in the UFC

The BMF Title is not division-tied, correct?

If so, can Alex Pereira/Aspinall challenge Max for it?

"Baddest mf-er' should be able to beat anyone, regardless of weight.

Why, are lookin to start training for it sir?

It's all about having a high finishing rate, sticking around in the game for a long time, and being ready to take on anyone, anywhere—not many fighters can say that.
Not so sure about the finishing rate?
Of the 5 guys they seem to have a wide range of finishes as a %.

Jorge Masvidal had 34 wins headed into the BMF fight and he had 17 finishes so 50% but he had 52 fights and 30 went to decision or 58% of his fights.

Nate Diaz had 20 wins with 17 finishes so 85% of his wins are finishes but 14 of his 34 career (41%) fights went to decision. His wins have a high % of finishes but he had a lot of decisions, he just lost most of them.

Dustin has 39 fights with only 9 decisions only 23% and 23 of his 30 wins (77%) are finishes.

Justin Gathje has 30 fights with only 4 decisions so 86% of his fights are finished and 21 of 25 wins are finishes (84%)

Max has 33 fights and 18 went to decision (55%) so only 45% of his fights are finishes.

It is much more about Perception of being a "Fighter" rather than a "Competitor" or an "Athlete".

It's a freaking marketing ploy. You can't win it from fighter to fighter like a regular belt.

Example: Usman didn't get it from Masvidal when he KO-ed him.
