I doubt Conor will ever be great at 170. No doubt he has some skills. But...Unless your sparring partner has equal skills , is ready for a death match, and knows a hard fight is coming at them, beating up on your sparring partner means nothing. Mostly its a dick move. Conor has a history of selective film editing and throwing his sparring partners under the bus to look good.

Conor is the master salesman. Always looked good in sparring footage, then lose brilliantly.
Everytime he post something really good leading up to his fights is when he lose really bad.

I wouldn't say this is him looking good at all.

He's a shadow of his former, pre Floyd self.

He looks good and without a doubt, he can still compete at the top of the division if he takes it seriously.

But yeah, this definitely is only a fraction of what we've seen from him In the past.

His partner looked like a glorified punching bag

All his sparring partners look the same and they all are low level fighters that aren't even throwing anything back at Conor. Also the guy he was punching bare knuckle was tiny compared to Conor, looked like a Flyweight. Conor also still looks slow and gassed. These type of videos isn't putting fear into fighter's hearts. The quality of his training and sparring partners is why he's fallen off so bad. Too many yes men and human punching bags.
