Do some people see getting rnc'ed when you're not hurt a bit like giving up?

giving up your back from mount is something some high level guys are good at. it is extremely risky though and 9/10 leads to you getting finished but they can't generate as much power with their punches from back mount so if your back escapes are better and your rnc defense is on point turning to your back isn't always a bitch move or sign of quitting. sometimes its an oh shit risky defense meaning there were no other options in that moment for defense.

If you know by protecting your neck in that position you wont get finished but instead you chose to protect your face.Can it be seen as quitting?

You can get dazed when hit in the face. If you just let people punch you in the head a few times it's not easy to do anything intelligently.
